Windows vs Linux

Okay, Linux came out before Windows YEAH! WE WIN...but that's where it stopped...

Linux has Terminal, Windows had DOS, and now they have PowerShell, Linux still has Terminal...

Linux doesn't need Antivirus, neither did DOS...

Windows has multiple GUI desktops, so does Linux...

Windows was popular because you could put a CD in the CD-Rom and hit next next, hurry up Finish...restart, Linux now has a next next, hurry up Finish...restart CD/DVD...

Linux is free, so was Windows and in certain part of the Countries, still is...

Linux has free programs that you can install on it, so does Windows...

Linux now has Office, Windows had/have/has Office...

Microsoft had/have/has Windows preloaded on your PC, Linux now has Ubuntu loaded on a PC...

Windows has an Automatic Software Updater, Linux now has an Automatic Software Updater...

Linux can be downloaded from the Internet, Windows can now be downloaded from the Internet...

Windows has to have Malware Software, Linux/Ubuntu/Mint/Android has to have Malware Software...

Linux was inspired by UNIX, Windows was inspired by UNIX...

Linux is a Desktop, Windows is a Desktop...

Windows is going to become more like Linux, but retaining Windows Attributes, Linux is becoming more like Windows but retaining Linux like attributes...

Windows can run Linux programs and Linux can run Windows programs...

Windows developers get paid for their efforts, Linux developers get paid for their efforts...

Windows knew that desktops were the future of their success, Linux now realizes that desktops are the future of their success...

Microsoft knew that they had to preload Windows on computers, Linux now knows they need to preload Linux on computers...

Google/Amazon/Linux wants you to like their Graphical User Interface like you did/does/do for Microsoft's Windows Graphical User Interface...

So to be clear here, it's not Windows vs Linux, it's Linux/Google/Amazon's Windows vs Microsoft's Windows...and that's a fact!

Lithium Ion Explodes...AGAIN

Long Island man burned on leg by iPhone when it exploded, hospitalized for 10 days...
http://abc13.com/technology/long-island-man-burned-on-leg-by-iphone-when-it-exploded/538929/

One of the most unstable batteries known to man or beast.

All they have to do is remove profit from the beginning of people and safety is restored, but in a world that revolves around population control with a profit this won't happen.

"The Name of the Game is sales, and how we keep score is Profit"

If water/heat hits these batteries, like sweat from a person's leg hint hint, or water from a water hose that is trying to put out a fire will ignite these batteries like an Exothermic Explosion.

"Lithium-Ion technology is old and outdated, doesn't like heat, and decomposes into corrosive hydrofluoric acid. After a few hundred recharges, the battery is dead. Enter Li-imide™ technology, which doesn't suffer from any of these limitations."

"Lithium-ion power packs don't like being exposed to heat, because this causes the LiPF6 to decompose into hydrofluoric acid, an extremely corrosive substance. This powerful acid instantly goes to work corroding the battery."

We have been saying for years, Lithium Imide Lithium Imide Lithium Imide!

It's easy to know who is behind the continued development of Li-ion...give up...the energy companies.

They rely on you "plugging" your device into their outlet to charge your device. It's also the reason why homes aren't built more efficiently.

Efficiently means not relying on the energy companies to provide heat/electricity, when you can accomplish this by energy self-sufficient homes.

Elon Musk is not your friend, regardless of his intentions, because he'll spend millions of dollars developing the best design for his car's appearance, but pennies on the batteries.

They know that by not doing that they won't get the support of the energy companies, because energy companies want to replace gas filling station with battery filling stations.

People are living longer now because of Social Media and the Internet so don't you think you should build a product that compliments the efforts of the people?

We've gone organic by getting away from pesticide companies like Monsanto thanks to Social Media and the Internet.

Thank you Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss for sharing your idea with Mark Zuckerberg, because without him your idea would have never taken off, we know because we had the same idea, just like many others did as well.

It's not what you know, it's who you know...and that's a fact!

Superfish Issue...

If you have been infected with the Superfish/Komodia you have more of a problem then they are letting on.

"Some experts say the problem may extend beyond Lenovo. The Komodia tool could imperil any company or program using the same code. "It's not just Superfish, other companies may be vulnerable," said Robert Graham, CEO of Errata Security. Komodia CEO Barak Weichselbaum declined comment Friday."

'Lenovo has since apologized for pre-loading the computers with Superfish's visual search software.'

'Lenovo released a software tool Friday to help customers remove the Superfish code from their laptops. It can be found on Lenovo's website. But some experts say users may want to wipe their hard drives and start over, re-installing the Windows operating system however.'

Here inlies the problem, "PRE-INSTALLED" which means even if you reinstall your operating system you'll be loading the Superfish program again, because it's part of the install.

Computers now provide the Operating System and "Third Party" software on the Hard Drive, so you'll just be allowing the bandit back in each time you reinstall.

Now customers will understand why we uninstall all the 3rd party crap off computers as soon as possible. ASUS-Ware, Lenovo-Ware HP-Ware ALL OF IT'S CRAP!

Lenovo and other providers that Pre-Installed this software Superfish on your computer should do the install for you with a new image.

You have Warranty, and since they have recognized this to be a problem and said that it would be best to reinstall the Operating System should reimage your hard drive for free.

That's Shipping and handling also...

sidenote: They don't usually backup, so you'll be responsible for backing up your data. Remember, backup...backup...backup again ;-)

As we have told you, once you load the Malware into the computer, it's almost impossible to get rid of, if not completely impossible, which means these companies need to honor the warranty.

This is at the Manufacturing level, so it's even in the limited warranty guidelines, so yes, they are fully responsible.

Microsoft has nothing to do with this, it's all Lenovo's fault and the fault of other MFG's that loaded this malware into the pre-load for your computer.

...as we were about to type it: Lenovo hit with lawsuit over Superfish snafu...
http://www.pcworld.com/article/2887392/lenovo-hit-with-lawsuit-over-superfish-snafu.html

The Hard Drive has to be re-imaged, No If's ands or Butts...and that's a fact!

**UPDATE**

Facebook security researcher Matt Richard says The Social NetworkTM has found at least ten more outfits using the library that gave the Superfish bloat/ad/malware its nasty certificate-evading powers...

Latest Development in a Company called PrivDog, you have got to hear their motto:
"Who Can You Trust? Trust PrivDog"® :-D Worse than Superfish? Comodo-affiliated PrivDog compromises web security too...

PrivDog is owned by Turkish-American entrepreneur Melih Abdulhayoğlu: AdtrustMedia.com

Comodo is a Chinese Malware company, but if you're a part of our group, we told you to keep an eye on them, not invest in them yet, because like we said, when it comes to malware security they're a little wet behind the ears still ;-)

We told you the brands to go with this year and if you are using those brands you're good to go.

Daytona 500

NASCAR has become the Hockey event of Auto Racing. Which driver will throw the first punch, which driver will shove the first car into the wall?

Danica, the seats in butts campaign, will either cause a wreck or stay in the 20 position, in other words, move along move along, nothing to see hear.

We've said it before and we'll say it again, NASCAR needs more than just one woman driver to make a difference, otherwise it'll never happen for the ol' gal.

Chuck and Charlie's Final Thought...

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #491

"I know a lot of you might be disappointed that you didn't get to see Charlie Sheen in tonight's finale. For the record, he was offered a role. Our idea was to have him walk up to the front door in the last scene, ring the doorbell, then turn, look directly into the camera and go off on a maniacal rant about the dangers of drug abuse. He would then explain that these dangers only applied to average people. That he was far from average. He was a ninja warrior from Mars. He was invincible.

And then we would drop a piano on him.

We thought it was funny.

He didn't.

Instead, he wanted us to write a heart-warming scene that would set up his return to primetime TV in a new sitcom called The Harpers starring him and Jon Cryer.

We thought that was funny too."

http://www.chucklorre.com/index-2hm.php?p=491

5hVnz Final Thought:

There once was a boy named Levine,
who had a bit of trouble making it to the latrine.
Aye, a sad site and they'd all see
and the smell that couldn't quite come out of the jean.

Oh the excuses you'll hear from a boy and his story
would one day grow up and call himself Lorre
Only to end up back in the Lavatory
crying over firing Charlie Sheen...

No Such Things as Accidents...

For some reason we stumbled across this Company, not that we haven't heard of them before, it's just that for some reason they showed up out of nowhere today.

Don't know why we saw it, but we usually don't believe in accidents, because there is always a reason for everything...

3D Systems, headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is a company that engineers and manufactures 3D printers...
http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/stockdetails/fi-126.1.DDD.NYS?ocid=INSFIST10

DDD: 3D Systems Corp (NYSE) ▲30.65

**UPDATE**

This just keeps getting interesting, somebody out of the blue just today, keeping in mind that this 3D company just showed up on Friday asked us today, "WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT 3D Printing...

That's telling us that something big is going to happen here...Keep an eye on this company and little 3D companies that could be bought up ;-)

The Manual Transmission...

Or the "Stick Shift" or Three on the Tree or the Wilson Preselector, but we don't have to go back that far...

For the most part the Transmission, regardless of it being Manual or Automatic, used to outlast the metal on the vehicle.

In other words, the car would rust out before the engine or transmission would give out, and that holds true today and if you have watched Fast and Loud you'll see that old cars can still run with the original equipment, but not with the cars and trucks of today.

Today the transmission lasts about...an hour before it goes out, well not really, more like an hour and 15 minutes :-D...

This is the dirty dark secret of the Auto Industry, and since 1999 the "Overdrive" transmission that have been produced have been extremely unstable.

Never before has a transmission failed as much as the transmissions have prior to 1999 and they continue to have problems.

The biggest problem has been with the Overdrive portion of the transmission, that's the D with a Circle around it that comes after 3 on your cars steering column.

If you go out on the web or if you talk to us we can confirm that this overdrive has been the downturn in the Transmission industry and has cost drivers thousands and thousands of dollars.

1999-2007 you had to put your lever into 3rd if you were climbing a steep grade because if you didn't the little teeny weeny tiny overdrive gear would burn out and burn out your transmission.

Then they said that you don't have to do that anymore and that the car would adjust itself automatically hence Automatic Transmission, but it doesn't and gets stuck in 3rd gear.

The auto industry owes people that have had problems with their transmissions thousands of dollars, but don't hold your breath, because it took them 56 deaths to recall a 32 cent part.

They are criminals in the 1st degree, but Oil and Gas rules apply with them so they will never see the inside of a jail cell...ever!

The other reason why America has more Automatic transmissions over Manual is because they are more expensive and America loves its money.

In Europe 80% of the cars are manual transmissions and they are that way for multiple reasons, more power, better fuel economy, flatter roads and cheaper to fix.

It's sad that Americans these days don't know how to drive a manual transmission, because if they did they might not be texting and driving and they would be better drivers.

With google's Autonomous car that they are trying to come out with will be the beginning the Jelly Fish person's car.

In other words, people will be carried out to the car, the car will be voice activated so all they have to do is say, Work and the car will then take them to work and so on.

When they get to work they will be lifted out from the car or the seat will then roll out of the car and wheel them into their cubicle where they will be plugged into and Intravenous Tube.

This tube will feed them while they work and never will they lift their arms or fingers and very little voice activation will be used only retina navigation will be used to prevent them from any exercise.

 ...hence the Jelly Fish.

Meanwhile, people are forcing people to learn stick shift, and this is the wrong approach for anything.

You don't throw your kid into the deep end of the pool to teach them how to swim, and throwing them into a stick shift car and sending them out on the highways is the equivalent of that.

Plus, you need to start teaching kids how to drive at a very young age, and right after they learn how to walk is when you begin teaching them how to drive.

You teach them how to ride a bike and you teach them how to drive a car and if they want to learn to drive a stick shift they will ask you, or you can ask them if they are interested, but do not force it.

Stick shifts are fun to drive, but in the city they aren't too practical because of the constant stop and go.

Stepping on the clutch, riding the clutch stop and go situations burn out the clutch very fast and it's expensive to fix a clutch 400 dollars and up.

The automatic transmission is the beginning of the end for people in general and will soon phase out completely and people will be transported in tubes by forced air.

Plus they can't keep up with the roads anymore and they waste money on stupid tunneling projects that do nothing but create more taxes for people.

Things are going to the air, so google and their autonomous car is short minded at best and won't be the future solution for transportation.

The American car has turned into a POS, and the warranties validate that, plus our economy thrives on the buying and selling of goods in order to maintain, so having a car that has a 100,000 mile warranty or better in America is counterintuitive to our way of life, and that's sad :-(

Anyway, don't force your kid to learn a stick shift, if they show interest in learning and you take the time to invest in your kids interests then yes, by all means teach them how to drive a stick shift, otherwise, do what you do best...

...buy them a car leave it in the driveway with a note that says, had to go to work, don't have time to teach you how to drive right now, it's easy, just don't wreck it, or else!

It's the famous quote from a parent, "Don't do what I do, do what I say", but they don't say anything, they just scream and yell when you do something wrong caused by lack of training...and that's a fact!

Marijuana Etiquette...

Considering that the Alcohol drinking pill popping double standard business owners that don't approve of Pot because the Government says so, you'll need to be cautious of how you smoke.

The majority of companies test for drugs, but that doesn't stop people from trying to time the tests to their intake, or they use products that help them pass a test.

PROS and CONS - This is where the intake companies fail in our opinion because they should do a DNA test as well with the Urine to make sure it is theirs...just saying ;-)

That said...

People that aren't supposed to be smoking due to restrictions from the company need to be a little more discreet in their practices if they are going to continue to get away with it.

The rich used a Smoking Jacket and would retire to the smoking room to have their Pipe, Cigar, Cigarette or w/e and you should too.

Most people if not all go home sit down on their couch grab the bong and start smoking weed in their work clothes and typically the clothes they'll wear the next day.

They'll smoke all night right there on that couch in their work clothes and if you think they can't smell you, you're wrong, they can smell you the minute you open your front door :-P

So the best thing to do is to change into your smoking clothes when you get home and put your clothes in a smoke free zone.

The next thing that is good to get in the habit of doing is washing your clothes separately from your work clothes and personal clothes to again, keep the smell from getting into them.

PROS and CONS - Business owners test all wrong, first of all you test a person for drugs the day after or the following Monday after the person gets paid and typically in the middle of the month after rent is paid. Not only that, it's best to test twice, once on the Friday for example then again on Monday, because they'll think that the testing is over with, so it's best to test twice ;-)

sidenote: Oh and since 420 is synonymous with Marijuana, you'll want to test on April 21. April is 4 and 20 = 420 so that's the day people smoke, and 4/21 is when you test ;-)

That said...

Smoking in your car is one of the dumbest things you can do and that is all we are going to say about that.

Now one bad apple ruins a bunch, so if you are not suppose to be smoking at work, don't because it will delay the process of making marijuana legal completely.

If you can't be responsible with marijuana then it will never be approved by the business owners, and no matter how simple the job is, you'll become complacent.

If you have to lock up and set the alarm, you'll be questioning yourself through the night on whether or not you locked up and turned on the alarm ;-)

Sativa is the uplifting strand and you can do a lot more practical things than you could if you smoked Indica, but still you'll be complacent/forgetful.

Even if you work at a Marijuana store, it's best to stay sober to deal with the public, because a sober person can outsmart you and you'll end up giving too much change back or too much product :-(

Remember Safety First...

Health (OBAMA) Care...

Okay, so let's get this straight ---------------and break this down a bit_ _ _

So the average day for a Person:

They get up to go to work in their home that has Home Insurance that protects them for Personal Injury...

Now we get in Transportation either provided by the state or their own car with their own insurance and if you get hurt in either one you have personal injury insurance...

Now you get to work and if you get hurt you have LNI/Workman's Comp insurance that takes care of you while you work...

Okay, so you go out to a Restaurant or go shopping in a retail location and you get hurt, you'll be covered by personal injury insurance from the owner...

So for the most part our lives, we are in a situation that protects us by default and typically the only reason people go to the doctor is because of these situations...

Now, we get old and can't work like we used to and are dependent on Medicare which is provided by the Government so again, protected by default...

If you don't have a job you can get Medicaid which is provided by the Government, so again...protected by default...

The Question is, WHAT IN THE F#CK DO WE NEED OBAMACARE FOR?!

cannedrebuttal: The hypochondriacs

Now on that note, if you don't sign up for health care you are going to pay a whopping 1% of your paycheck for the year which is about 200 bucks for the entire year compared to 150-600 a MONTH, that's roughly 1800 to 7200 dollars a year. 200 or 1800-7200...hmm 200!

Now it's going to go up to 4% in time so that's roughly 1000 dollars a year depending on your yearly income compared to 1800-7200 dollars a year...hmm...1000 WINS AGAIN!

Now, since they are taking money out of your paycheck for "HEALTHCARE"/"OBAMACARE" that means you are paying for...HEALTHCARE, right? Exactly Right.

Get it? Good, Now get out of here :-D

TATERTOT...

I'm a Tatertot all ridged and crispy
Put me in the oven and you will see
Heat me up until I'm golden brown
Then pop me in your mouth and swallow me down

I'm a tatertot I'm a tatertot
Bake me in an oven or fry me in a pot
There isn't anything that we can't do
I can even be a good snack after school

Tatertot :-)

Here's an Idea...

We can't even count anymore on how many times we have had customers install programs without disabling their threatmanagement software first.

Malware programs are meant to protect system files from being overwritten, that is their job so when you load a software program you are overwriting system files.

The difference with Malware Programs today is that they are running in a sandbox and prevents software from loading correctly which leaves you with a corrupted program/Operating System.

Whenever we do Windows updates we disable our threatmanagement software first to prevent corruption and or answering malware questions like, is this ok, is this ok, is this ok...to load...

We disable our Windows Updates because we don't want them loading without our permission so that is why we remember to disable our threatmanagement software first.

However, this has gone on long enough and Malware providers need to be able to disable themselves while the install is being ran.

All it would do is have a pop up that says, "Are you loading a Software Program" Yes or No', the user would say YES and the Malware programs would disable themselves automatically.

Windows 7 is recommended to be restarted every time you install a program, regardless if the software says to or not, when the system is restarted the Malware program will automatically start.

Now legitimate programs use Windows Installer which make it easier for Malware programs to pick up on whether or not you are loading software or not, but Malicious software doesn't.

Somehow the Malware software needs to be able to pick up on whether or not a malicious software is being loaded and prompt the user "Are you loading a Software Program" and this time the user would say no and the install would be prevented.

Recently we had a user install a software from a Phishing scam that loaded a driver update software into their computer without their knowledge.

It was just a button on the "GOOGLE CHROME" hint hint screen and it installed junk on their computer, and the malware program let it load.

When the system restarted is when they noticed the program popping up saying you have drivers to be updated click here to update automatically and it wouldn't close.

The Malware software prevented it from getting into the system files and quarantined the nasty part of the malicious software, so the clean up was easy, but time consuming.

The malware program should have prevented this all together by prompting the user that an install was happening did you allow this, but Malware software doesn't.

This is in need of improvement to prevent corruption from a user loading a software while Malware is enabled, and prevention of junkware loading to begin with.

In the meantime the first update is the Legitimate User Software load prompt and should be a part of the Malware Software.

The reason being is because there is too many Malware programs for an OS to associate with, so since a Legitimate install uses standard protocols the Malware Program should initiate the Prompt.

This is an age old program and should have been fixed already, but due to the "Whisper Down The Lane" clause, the information wasn't passed on to the new boot campers and the veteran techs got fired before they could change it.

The Vicious circle of Corporate Politics and failed Policies which leave the customer in harms way...and that's a fact!

Blackberry Chipping Away...

"The Canadian manufacturer took notice and sued Typo. The court ordered an injunction which Typo allegedly violated, and earlier this month the company was ordered to pay BlackBerry $860,000"...

"BlackBerry is asking for damages and another injunction, looking "to put an end to Defendants' pattern and practice of unlawful conduct." It makes us wonder why Typo designers couldn't have just come up with a design totally unlike BlackBerry's keyboard. The basic idea is very sound, but if the court rules that Typo2 also copies BlackBerry, it might be game over for the young company"...

It's Always the Enduser...

(Bloomberg) -- A hacker group has stolen as much as $1 billion from banks and other financial companies worldwide since 2013 in an “unprecedented cyber-robbery,” according to computer security firm Kaspersky Lab...

The criminals detected by Kaspersky infected bank employees’ computers with Carbanak malware, which then spread to internal networks and enabled video surveillance of staff...
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/money/online-bank-robbers-steal-up-to-dollar1-billion-kaspersky-says/ar-AA9r4aN

If we have told you once we have told you a hundred times...BYOD, Bring your own device and get the "ENDUSER" off the net!

An enduser is like a criminal, regardless of how many times you tell them not to check their social media sites they're gonna do it anyway even after they get caught.

If you have to have a computer hooked to the internet for your company, make sure it's not connected to the database.

People want the Government to come in to help protect them from cyber threats, while they continue to use their birth date as their password.

The only way a network gets breached is when they have someone on the inside letting them in.

The Enduser needs to bring their own device to check their social media sites and their home monitoring systems or their twitter accounts.

Work PC's that are connected to the internal database should not be on the internet PERIOD.

Online banking is not secure, wireless networks are not secure, bank phone apps DEFINITELY NOT SECURE, the internet is not secure.

Endusers aren't going to get any smarter, they like the drama of it too much and they love feeling like the victim, because it's an attention getter.

You've got to just pull the plug on them and take control OF YOUR NETWORK TECHS  and stop listening to the enduser.

When you give something to someone they are your friend, but when you tell them you can't give to them anymore they stop being your friend, endusers...are...not...your...friend!

Think of it like this, Valentines Day, you'll go out and get her what you think she wants or what you think she would like, but all she is going to do is complain.

You'll then try to improve it the next time, but the demand will be greater and the costs will be higher, and still, it won't be enough, because they are never satisfied and they'll always remind you of what the other person got for V-Day.

So you can continue down the never satisfied lane, or you can just cut to the chase and nip it in the bud and tell them that instead of a Valentines Dinner and gift, that you've decided to go out with the boys to a stripclub ;-)

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link...and that's a fact!

sidenote: Endusers are not Gender Specific, both male and female are equally as damaging when it comes to Computers...

**UPDATE**

The media has taken off with this issue and are saying that this is all new never seen before type of crime, but they as usual are WRONG!!!

People were getting viruses on their computers in the 90's the exact same way they are getting them today.

What, you think that these people just woke up one day and said, dude, I had a vision on how we can take things from other people, I call it...Theft! :-D

They also think that the tactics they used were all new and never seen before style of theft...they watched people...:-D

James Caan had a great movie called Thief that watched people and staged their heists days/weeks before they ever pulled the job because they had to watch the people...

People are easy targets because they are so in need of companionship and are always wanting to connect with someone new or having them like their post.

You'd be surprised how cheap owners are when techs come to them about software they need to keep systems backed up and secure...oh, no surprise, 75% of you are the same way!

Kaspersky is an excellent program, but there is more to it than just having a good malware program, but it's where you start.

There is also security measures you need to take with your computer itself, with the browser settings, keeping it clean, not restarting or shutting down without cleaning the cache first.

Never installing programs you have no idea what they do, or installing programs you "THINK" you need.

Back to Corporations...these are the people that are the biggest problem here.

They hire young boot campers out of college that know how to code, but have no practical knowledge of anything else.

We have worked with some of the smartest coders in the business and it never fails, unless you give them a project/direction, they'll just sit there.

You could put them in a room and come back days later and they would still be sitting the same way with nothing accomplished.

However, a CEO doesn't have time to monitor everyone of the business and they have fired everyone else.

They think by firing the middle aged workers or hiring seasoned professionals is too much money, but they are losing more money by paying people with no life skills whatsoever.

The problem comes again with proper training of these individuals and parents aren't doing their job to get them ready for life, and most parents aren't even around.

College teaches them nothing about life only how to take a test get a passing grade and graduate so the college can keep their funding.

Not only that, but people have lost their sense of value thanks to the trust fund baby boomers and drug addicted generation X.

Take Snapchat for example, here is a program that did "TWO" things, take a picture and delete it and it sold for billions of dollars and come to find out it didn't delete :-D

Nonetheless, here is a stupid program that sold for Billions of dollars and has done nothing for the advancement of technology, or humanity itself.

Bill Gates did more for technology than the snapchats of today, and is still dazzling and amazing the minds of people.

Microsoft has even had to pull Bill back in to help them with a Vision, because they now have a left brained wrench turner running the company that's got his head stuck in the clouds.

When you take the Bill Gates out of the equation you are left with clones of clones that know just what the College could teach them.

A good example of a Visionary is Steve Jobs, Steve went to Toshiba and Toshiba said, look Steve we have these little tiny hard drives that we have no idea what to do with, but Steve did and Viola iPod!

Otherwise, they would have just sat there wondering what to do if someone didn't point them in the right direction and tell them what to do...Thanks Steve :-)

College is a joke, and all politicians talk about education, but all they are referring to is giving money to the Universities to keep people coming into their cities.

K-12 is where they need to concentrate on, and get rid of College for Bachelors of BS degrees that get/give you nothing.

Parents need to start investing in the K-12 schools like a College and start training these kids for what life really has in store for them, practical living skills.

Business is in everything we do, so of course your study would be just like a College, but more accelerated.

Plus if you start "MAKING" parents pay for K-12 schooling they'll think twice about just laying down with any Tom/Dick or Harry and Sally/Kathy or Michelle.

If they are required to start funding their childs future from Kindergarten, you'll find that people will become more involved with their lives and the lives that are part of it.

Scholarship programs will be awarded for good grades only, and work programs will be put into place for the children to help fund their school.

Businesses will be required to buy a certain amount of services and or goods that students will be performing on a day to day basis.

There will be no one activity like Football that gets all the attention, all activities are funded equally and are given the same support and attention that any other activity would have.

Arts/Music/Sports/Business/Technical/Science/ all equally funded and funded for by parents/students and Corporations.

The school would be an investment in your children's future, and everything is on the table, so the child knows exactly what their commitment will be when they begin to work for themselves.

There will be no teachers standing in front of a class with chalk in their hand writing on a chalkboard, it will be computerized interactive software applications that will teach the students.

There will be no favorite student in the class, you won't have to worry about a teacher sleeping with a student or a teacher complaining about this that or the other.

You also won't hear the excuse, "I have too many Students" anymore, because you'll be able to provide multiple monitors around the room so each student will have a good view and sound.

Plus, the interactive software will work like a DVR and the students will be able to pause and replay a missed segment independently from the other monitors.

That means that the rest of the class could continue while one group could stop/rewind on a touchscreen monitor and without interrupting the flow of the lesson.

College if needed will be funded again by the parents in a savings program that begins when the child begins their first day of school (Kindergarten)

College will be both computerized and human related teaching to help them interact with people and how to treat one another, but computerized for enhanced higher learning.

Interest rates will adjust accordingly to the economy and no, you can't take the money out it's a trust for your child's future endeavors.

The money will also be used to prepare for the day they move out of the house. They will be placed into a home/apt that suits their needs, furnished and all utilities will be put in their name.

They will be placed into the home as soon as they graduate this way they get adjusted to living on their own faster and they learn to grow up faster.

The student will be evaluated early on to determine if College will be in their future and a payment plan will be built into their schooling dues.

The parents will be paid back every cent they put into their child's education because the job the child takes will take out a monthly amount and will be required to pay back in the same amount of time 12 years.

Jobs of tomorrow won't exist like they do today due to robotics taking them over. People will be in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, biology, technology, government, restaurant/hotel, etc.

Everyone will have a job, all their earnings will be monitored and housing and transportation will be provided for them at the amount they can afford.

Opening a business won't be as easy as it was before, due to the health care system and the amount of taxes that nations are taking from people to pay for roads and transportation.

Automobiles won't be made like they are today, they will standardize and limit models, for Utility, Luxury, Economy and Transit.

The Auto industry is losing money left and right and is costing the Taxpayer too much money and people are not buying cars like they used to anymore today.

Biking and Walking are already becoming mandated in the world we live in today, and cars are becoming too expensive for most to buy due to the evolution of Electric.

People will be trained to live within their means, and will stop wasting their hard earned dollars on things they can't afford that go into foreclosure anyway and are left to the taxpayer already.

People are tired of paying for other people's kids, and they are tired of welfare systems for drug addicted parents that don't know how to use contraceptives.

People don't have a kid because they know they can't afford them, they can't have one, or they just don't want one, and they'll be damned if they should have to pay for yours!

You'll still have your freedom to post on Facebook, because they'll want to monitor the type of person you are so they can keep an eye on you.

They'll still have gambling and drinking because these types of places bring in huge revenue and they require medical response for troubled people.

You can't change the person you are, you are who you are, they'll just be better equipped to handle a situation if one arises.

If you don't think that this will happen you're wrong, because it's happening already TODAY with the exception of the schooling.

This is where the healing will begin with the K-12/13 education system...and that's a fact!

Very Very Strange News...

Recently we heard of an SEC investigation on Blackberry and early trading rumors with Samsung.

Samsung is now distancing itself from Google and getting into bed with Microsoft or is Google distancing itself from Samsung or are they both distancing themselves from one another...

Blackberry "was" an easy target, but at this point with this recent situation, Blackberry might be looking a little better than they have in a long while.

Now MS and Samsung have kissed and made up and going as far as loading on a bundle of Microsoft apps, including OneNote, OneDrive, Office Mobile, and Skype.

Touchwiz is exactly what MS is needing right now, because MS remember thinks like a Tech, not an end user.

They needed a friendly user interface for their product line and now they have it with Touchwiz, but what this has to do with Blackberry is puzzling...other than the obvious of course...

Companies buy other companies to dissolve them to reduce the competition, so Samsung wanting to buy Blackberry would remove that element of surprise, but it backfired.

The strange part here is that Google is becoming very tattletaley lately and it seems that they have something on their mind and it's MS.

Google seems a little jealous if you ask us, and they have always been jealous of MS and now MS and Samsung are playing nice together...

However, MS strategy to get an interface is a long time waiting so nothing unusual there, just business as usual.

Samsung is the most vulnerable here because of all the law suits they have been hit with from Apple patent infringements.

...and when people are vulnerable they become desperate and begin asking people for help, the question here is what kind of help/advice did Google give Samsung...

Very Very Strange news indeed...
http://www.cnet.com/au/news/samsung-to-nix-bloatware-in-galaxy-s6-os-report-says/

Hmmm, What was that...

"We're in the world now of fashion electronics," Sculley said. "It's much less about the technology, it's about the fashion appeal of the products. I have no idea if Apple Watch is going to be successful or not, but certainly Apple has gone for the high ground with fashion. If a space is there for someone to build a fashion electronics brand for something you wear on the wrist, Apple's got the best shot at it."

See Microsoft, not so much about development anymore, it's all about Artistic Expression, but we told you that, and Sculley confirmed it.

It's time to put emphasis into your Office Group, and start streamlining the OS group.

You're in Software MS, and sure Excel is a great product, but everybody has Excel and Word.

PowerPoint is weak and sure it's a good product for the all thumbs type CEO of yesteryear, but those CEO's are retiring.

You are putting the cart in front of the horse with your subscription services and letting the little head think for the big head.

Sorry MS, but you're not ready to eat scallops and lobster yet, so get used to Top Ramen a little bit longer, because you have a little bit more work to do.

It's great that you have an OS coming out, but we're sure you have heard the old saying, "Don't put all your eggs into One Basket"

You gotta pull out all the stops now and start using all the resources you have in that little bag of yours and come out swingin' or else get used to sitting on the bench...and that's a fact!

Patch...Friday...

Microsoft Patch...Friday :-P is actually 3 days past their official date which is every 2nd Tuesday of every month.

We know that MS can put out a bad update from time to time, people aren't perfect and sometimes it's because of another software company that the bad update occurred anyway.

Oh speaking of 3rd party companies, Google was in the news again, not for anything important, just tattletaling on MS again and other companies about their 90 day commitment.

You know who Google is, they are the company that puts out a desktop software for another persons Operating System, and they are the Meta Tag company as well.

Google is like that little brother that just tells on you all the time, you know how it goes, I'M GONNA TELL!!! :-D

Google is just bored because they have no vertical market right now and are becoming even more broke than their failed Google Glass project.

Why does google come out with so many OS revisions, because they crash apps. Their Ice Cream sandwich and Kit Kat was a disaster and needed to come out with Lollipop.

You know, they really are the company that doesn't make any sense to pick on, because there is really no challenge in doing so.

Go Ahead Google, cry wolf all day long, Windows 10 will be out soon enough and people we'll be like, google? google who? oh that meta tag company ;-)

Anyway, back to real business, If you want to do your updates now, go ahead, no known issues, but even if there were, you know how to recover from them now.

Happy Computing and don't worry if MS makes a Mistake from time to time, they're just human.

**UPDATE**

Our Bad...Google did actually have some big news to report lately...

Summary: In the world of Android this week was news of Android shipments dropping, Android Wear shipments were not heavy, and Microsoft/Samsung end the royalty battle.

Apple shipped almost as many iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units a day as Android Wear devices over the entire six months.

Tunneling Projects First Injury...

Well there it is Inslee, your first accident at the tunnel. The engineers said that this project was unstable, but you and WSDOT are refusing to listen because you have profit on the brain.

"4 workers injured in fall at Highway 99 tunnel site..Four construction workers were injured, one seriously, Thursday when they fell nearly 25 feet at the Highway 99 tunnel project near Seattle Center.
The men were installing steel reinforcing bar for a concrete wall when the wall 'somehow' gave way, said a statement by Seattle Tunnel Partners (STP), contractor for the 2-mile project.
“Safety is STP’s and WSDOT’s number one priority,” BULLSHIT!!!

http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2025688008_tunnelaccidentxml.html

...when the wall somehow gave out...not somehow, the engineers WARNED YOU OF THIS!!!

You know, they are too stupid to even blog about, they want you to get upset, they're paid to do so.

You've made you're own bed WSDOT and Politicians, now lay in it!!!

Oh Charlie...

You look like Sh#t Dude, and your delirious. You need an intervention, you look like SH#T and are becoming delusional...again :-(...Brian Williams already admitted he was wrong Charlie...

Charlie Sheen Rips NBC, Calls Brian Williams a ‘Hero’ in Open Letter...

Read the full letter below:
Dear Mr. Williams,
Sorry to bother you during this most surreal, unjust and mercurial moment in your awesome life.
First off,
THANK YOU, for 24 years of inimitable professionalism and top shelf brilliance, as a stone cold
passion driven and (PERFECTLY) fact based journalist.
Secondly,
Thank you “squared” for delivering not only the news on a nightly basis, (PERFECTLY) to myself and my family. But for every other person alive, (with a TV) who relied and still do, on your poetic, insightful and NOBLE sacrifices, that made our longest nights shorter, and our shortest nights safer.
You good sir, are a hero in my “Entire Library”
Lastly;
you are clearly the victim of a transparent and vile witch hunt! Erroneously “staged” by hooligans,
non coms, cowards and oligarchs, who’s only desperate and hideous goal is to discredit the genius that they relied on for almost 3 decades!
Now and forever you are a true Patriot and a Hero of mine until the day i leave this star crossed imperfect Rock we call Earth…
Mr W: respect love hi 5’s and refuge! (if you need it!)

I remain humbly and on dangerous standby at your service….
I am;

Virginia Marijuana Study...

When a thief Robs money from a Bank the radio will come out and say, "Robbers Just Made Out With Untraceable Money" Robbery of the century type BS...

All they want you to do is spend the money so they can come pick you up faster.

Virginia just came out with a Study that put some people on a little course and had them drive around cones high on Marijuana...
http://www.lamag.com/driver/study-stoned-driving-poses-minimal-crash-risks/

This isn't a test, and 9 times out of 10 you'll pass this test if not 10 times out of 10, but this isn't practical driving.

When people are focused on one thing like this driving test for example while high can pass this test easily.

The problem with Marijuana drivers in practical driving is what Professional Testers have determined to be the "DRIFT"

A Marijuana smoker stops at green lights, because they get focused on something else and they lose track of time.

This is the DRIFT factor where they can't compute too many things at once.

"NEVER TRUST A COP, NEVER TRUST A COP, NEVER TRUST A COP"

All they want to do is give you the illusion that driving on Marijuana is safe, so they can pull you over and give you a 5,000 dollar DUI ticket.

If you're a medicinal card holder your license plate is on file, and they could pull you over just to check your toxicity and won't matter if you smoked a week ago, you're going to fail.

Now they have Vending Machines that require your ID barcode to be scanned which has all your information on it, which will be added to a database, count on it!

Cops work on commission sort of speak, and as long as you keep giving them your hard earned dollars they'll stay in business.

If you start thinking and acting smarter, we could take the Police out of State ;-)

Or Worse, when you stop at that green light and someone continues through the light and rear ends the stopped car at the green light will generate more revenue.

Their testing should tell you right away that all they want is your money and another car off the road.

If you are a regular smoker and haven't smoked for a week and get pulled over and they test you for whatever reason you will register over their legal limit.

Marijuana stays in a persons system up to 30 days depending on the amount they smoke, and longer if you are a chronic smoker.

It's a war on cars and they can't/won't fix the roads and would rather build Brain Dead Poser tunnels for billions of dollars that will accomplish nothing but cost overruns and lost sales for business.

There was recently an accident that involved the death of 3 people and the driver was stoned. If the driver gets distracted from driving they lose track of time or DRIFT.

Not only that, their are two different types of Marijuana and one effects your abilities more, Sativa and Indica.

Indica is the Stoney Stoney Couch potato MJ and Sativa is the Uplifting MJ, but both produce the same DRIFT results, just Indica is worse.

This test is the person that says, "It's okay, don't worry, you'll be alright...TRUST ME..."

Make no mistake, driving on MJ and Driving on Alcohol are two very different effects and you absolutely positively and without a doubt cannot drive drunk.

MJ is so much safer than Alcohol is any day of the week, and don't let that DB from Washington tell you any different, because she is exactly that, a DB!

Marijuana has over 40 chemicals in it that cause cancer, but THC prevents you from getting cancer from those elements.

MJ is healthier for you in so many ways that Alcohol could never measure up to, so again the DB from Washington is exactly that a DB!

However, smoking MJ and Cigarettes increases your chances of getting cancer 7 fold, so quit smoking cigarettes, because cigarettes alone can cause cancer...and that's a fact!

Indica like Alcohol can cause Liver Damage, so be careful of your Indica intake ;-) Sativa on the other hand does not cause Liver Damage.

MJ helps with Depression, Cancer, Insomnia, Libido, Constipation, Anger, Muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis, Nausea from cancer chemotherapy, Poor appetite and weight loss caused by chronic illness, such as HIV, or nerve pain, Seizure disorders, Crohn's disease...

The reason why they don't want to legalize it is because A. You can grow it yourself, so no profit to be made, B. Cops can't manipulate you like they can on Alcohol C. It has Medicinal Value that takes away profits from Drug Makers D. It can replace the Oil Industry with less impact on our Earth and E...It's just too good for you and the FDA hates that...and that's another fact!

**UPDATE**

Oh, and BTW, Marijuana is not addictive.

They came out with some BS that because the quality of MJ is better nowadays then it was a long time ago, but this is another lie.

Good MJ and Eatables have been around since 500bc and the potency has been all over the place and people do not get addicted to MJ.

MJ at any level is NON-Addictive, has been, is and always will be NON-Addictive.

You can't compare this to Gambling, because money only brings out the addictive personality in people, MJ doesn't have that ability.

cannedrebuttal: MJ doesn't release dopamine so the addictive personality disorder doesn't show itself.

Their is no chemical dependency with MJ so there hasn't been, is not and will NEVER be addictive.

MJ doesn't release dopamine in the brain, serotonin yes, but serotonin is good and without it has been linked to Parkinson's disease.

When depressed serotonin is restricted and MJ helps with Depression by releasing serotonin which is good for you, but not addictive.

MJ itself doesn't release serotonin, it helps the mind with depression and when the mind is happy and the body feels good, natural serotonin is released, it's a cause and effect solution, but not addictive...and that's a fact!

5hVnz Vegetable of the Month...

Food After Football:

Sunchoke:

"The sunchoke is sometimes called the "Jerusalem artichoke" though it has no specific relation to Jerusalem or even that part of the world. In fact, the sunchoke is native to North America, so it's a local "exotic" vegetable.

It can be used as a low-starch substitute for potatoes and is remarkably easy to grow. It also has great potential for use in the making of alcoholic beverages, as the alcohol fermented from the tubers is said to be of better quality than that from sugar beets."

http://www.myrecipes.com
2 pounds  assorted mushrooms such as chanterelle, porcini, portabella, morel, shiitake, or common white and brown
1/2 pound  sunchokes
2 tablespoons  olive oil
2 tablespoons  butter or margarine
1 cup  thinly sliced shallots
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1 tablespoon  chopped fresh rosemary leaves or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 teaspoons  chopped fresh oregano leaves or 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup  dry sherry
Salt and pepper

Preparation
1. Trim off any soil caked onto mushrooms. Trim and discard discolored stem ends and tough stems of shiitakes. Quickly immerse the mushrooms in water, swishing them around to release soil and insects, then lift from water and drain.
2. Cut large mushrooms into about 1-inch pieces; leave the small mushrooms whole.
3. Peel and coarsely chop sunchokes.
4. In a 5- to 6-quart pan over high heat, combine oil, butter, mushrooms, sunchokes, shallots, and garlic. Stir often until mushroom juices evaporate and the vegetables are browned, about 15 minutes.
5. Add rosemary, oregano, and sherry; stir until sherry evaporates, about 2 minutes.
6. Spoon vegetables into a serving dish. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Note: Sunchokes are also called Jerusalem artichokes. If making up to 1 day ahead, cover and chill. To reheat, stir over medium heat until hot, about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh rosemary or oregano sprigs.

5hVnz Quote of the Day...

"People want war when they think they can win, People go to war when they have nothing to lose"

5hVnz Book of the Month...

David Axelrod’s ‘Believer: My Forty Years in Politics’

”While lamenting that among the Washington press, “success is measured not by what you accomplish, but how voters feel about it at any given moment,” Mr. Axelrod later volunteers that he “devoured” polls every day at the White House. Indeed, when the Treasury secretary at the time, Timothy Geithner, opposed the politically popular tactic of denying Wall Street executives their bonuses — protesting that it “ would be the end of capitalism as we know it!” — Mr. Axelrod fired back, “I hate to break the news, Mr. Secretary, but capitalism isn’t trading very high right now!”

Flashback:

For our "MOST LOYAL" followers, will remember that we said that Apple would beat Android, and we weren't alone in that.

Germany also believed in that as well, but most Americans just go with the winner or the new, but the "TRUE FANS" stay when their losing.

When Steve Jobs died was a devastating time for many people and many thought, us included thought that w/out Steve Jobs Apple would fail.

Statistically speaking that was the right thought, because every time Steve Jobs left, Apple would begin to fail and would come crawling back to Steve and beg him to come back EVERY TIME!

sidenote: Just like your Coach Pete Carroll, statistically he had the right thought, but only those that really believe in him, would have stuck with him...

We were like many and were at an Impasse with the BIG Three on the line, Microsoft, Apple and Google, and Google was looking really good at the time.

So like many, if not most jumped ship and went to Google thinking they were going to be the next big thing, and left those that got them there behind, like they never even existed.

During this Impasse we were struggling with our own issues and trying to decide what we should do with our future as well.

See when you're young you can make mistakes because the young are built of rubber and can bounce back easily and because they're so cute when they fall it's just too hard not to like 'em ;-)

However, when you get older, you don't bounce back as easy and you aren't as cute anymore, so we knew that companies like Microsoft and Apple couldn't make one wrong move.

So we had a choice, move to Palo Alto or Move to Seattle and here we are :-)

It actually came down to a last minute decision on why we came here, and it was Apple that helped us in making that choice.

First, Apple hired all the HP Web OS crew that got laid off from HP after Meg the Hatchett Whitman fired them and gave away a multi-billion dollar software for free.

The first thing the HP Web OS crew wanted to do for Apple was put out that damn stylus, and thought no wonder she fired them, but it worked.

Apple is designed for the Artist and it fit in with their style...stylus ;-) and we realized that they were no longer HP employees, they were now Apple employees and that was good enough for us.

Still, Apple wasn't looking too good and to add insult to injury they hired this Snake Oil of a Salesman John Browett that we knew from the minute the news hit the wire that he was all wrong for the company.

...and he was, they fired him and it was at that point that we knew Apple was going to be Okay.

So our vision was clear and the Earthquakes we're less likely to destroy the state of Washington than California :-S, but they do have Volcanoes :-D out of the frying pan and into the fire :-D

...which was a Vision of ours all the way back to 1989, but little did we know what the hell it meant then.

We knew Microsoft was in trouble long before Microsoft knew they were in trouble and since we were more of an MS brat than anything else, it just made sense to come here.

Which takes us into the next question that everyone asks us, if you are a Microsoft fan why aren't you a Seahawks fan...

That's a good question and if we gave it half a thought when we decided to move, we would be in San Antonio, because we're more of a Spurs fan, but we don't like watching basketball :-(

However, still a good question and we now know why we aren't a Seahawks fan.

See the Seahawks were in the AFC with the Broncos and yes, the Broncos are our Hometown team, but Broncos aren't our favorite, but we will always root for them when they play the Seahawks, but that's neither here nor there.

The reason we didn't like the Seahawks as you know was because of their Uniforms, they just didn't look manly :-( too transparent for our tastes.

Then they changed their uniforms and they are cool now and not so transparent, but still we just can't seem to be a Seahawk fan...

It's not the players, they're great, a little loud mouthed, but still a good team and even when they had those ugly uniforms we still liked the players, Zorn and Largent gave the Donkeys a good fight.

It wasn't until we moved here that we gave it any thought, because it's hard not to think about because all Washingtonians think about is Football Football Football Football ugh ugh ugh...

Before we answer this, you'll have to look past football, for once, and look at the BIGGER Picture...

We moved here to further our knowledge of Electronics and Computers and felt like that was never going to happen in Colorado, because they are wayyyy behind there, but they are further than you are.

It's like that old saying, "The plumbers Pipes are Always Broken" and there isn't anyone here except for us and the employees at Tech Companies that know anything about computers.

We thought we would never hear ourselves saying that, but you are further behind Colorado when it comes to knowledge.

Not only that, everyone uses Android and Apple phones, but a lot of Android and every word out of their mouth is Google it, Google it.

They do know Skype, but they don't have any idea where it came from or who owns it now, which is truly sad, for a Company that put you on the Map.

That's right, Microsoft PUT YOU ON THE MAP, not Boeing, they're a copycat Hughes wannabe, and JBLM knows it.

sidenote: Nothing wrong with having a dream ;-)

JBLM makes Boeing look like a Single Prop shop, and yet the Government wants to shut them down, but that's another story.

Nope, everybody wants to be like Mi...crosoft, so Amazon and Google and the handful of others that owe Microsoft their existence should be thankful for them, but they're not.

Most of your Companies run on Microsoft, except for the State of Washington.

Yep, while Governor Inslee is building some multi billion dollar over ran budget tunneling project for the brain dead posers that want another waterway, the State's infrastructure is falling apart.

The residents are on the hook for all those overruns while companies lose 40% business everyday already.

Coincidentally enough their software that runs the State is becoming unstable due to it being outdated, and if they don't hurry up and upgrade/change their software the whole damn thing could collapse...like their money pit of a project.

Instead of fixing the roads, the bridges, the highways, their software, they're using money to build a tunnel that mixes seawater with clean aquifer water, without a filter :-(

Coming from the 5th driest state in the nation to one of the wettest we just couldn't believe what we saw, and what a waste and how far behind their thinking is.

Never have we seen such wasteful people in our lives, and when you come from a place where every drop of water counts, just makes you cringe when you see the buckets of water they waste.

So you see, we don't want to be a Seahawk fan because we aren't a bandwagoneer...we're a Microsoft Fan and will always be...a Microsoft Fan.

When you put everything into place with what we have mentioned here and what we don't have time to write, will tell you that we didn't choose Seattle, Seattle chose us...

Seattle is in pain and people like Governor Inslee, Mayor Murray, Howard Schultz and people like them are killing her everyday.

We came here to help save Microsoft, because Microsoft made us the person we are today and when someone helps you become the person you are, you don't turn your back on them...and that's a fact!

sidenote: Just because it's fun to mention, did you see the Ad for Microsoft in the Superbowl...well, it looks like MS finally learned how to market themselves :-)

Here's an Idea...

"Avoid the Problem and Go Into the Solution"

In IT there is a technology called "Client Server" which means there is a Server and a PC called the client.

A program is loaded onto the Server and a client side is loaded on the PC that allows an interface to connect to the Server Program.

The reason for this program is to centralize the data to the server to keep it secure and backed up easier and cheaper for companies.

The other part of this process is the Security of the Server that controls the PC's in it's network and the users activity.

This process has also been around for years and is implemented in Corporations to help prevent accidents that users create inside their environment.

Recently we heard a news agency blah blah blahing about a parent's child that got in trouble for having their phone out in class.

So we thought...for a second :-D that, why don't they have a Client Server app that limits the phone usage to times that are approved for use.

Servers can limit the login times, internet times, word filtering, they can block websites and pretty much anything you can think of they can and have been able to do for years.

So why don't they have a Parent Child app that recreates the Server environment?

Like modes, this can go into school mode, where the phone is not allowed to be used from school start and school closing.

You could even limit the contacts list to only be able to call the parent or guardian or emergency calling only.

They could lock down the apps on the phone and settings and really everything but the emergency phone numbers that are needed for parents to get in touch with their children and vice versa.

The apps that the child loads on their phone will be loaded by the parents phone that distributes a child side, like a client side that only allows them to connect.

Any data downloaded to the phone, texts, emails, phones calls would all be sourced at the Parents phone to prevent the child from doing or saying things to friends they wouldn't normally say.

Everything would be controlled by the Parents phone and would be scheduled to be used at certain times, like 2 hours after school, or shut down when it's time to go to bed or eat dinner.

Their entire day/week would be a set-it and forget-it type application and all data would be saved to the Parents cloud account.

Even if a child goes to a site that wasn't approved the parent would see it and would be discussed with the child/teacher/counselor etc. on whether or not this was a safe and required site.

They already have agencies that have pre-approved sites that can be downloaded and imported into the parental filter.

Most sites require you to be a certain age to view their sites, so the child's phone would already be set to an underage block to prevent them from going to bad sites in the first place.

Cell Phones for parents mean keeping their child safe, Cell phones for kids means freedom from Parents, but while under our roof you have no freedom :-D

Responsibility needs to be taught by an adult and adults need to start teaching this responsibility at a young age to help them later in life.

Client server app technology isn't that great, because of two reasons; one is that the host always has to be running in order for the client to connect.

Now technology has come along way with this type of technology in servers, but on mobile, we are still dealing with batteries that last hours, so kind of a deal breaker there.

The second issue with Client Server apps are that they can be slow depending on the amount of clients connecting to them and the resources they are using on the host, so again, kind of a deal breaker here.

So in conclusion with Client Server app solution for mobile isn't the ideal solution.

The best solution for mobility at this point of the game is the Group Policy procedure a Server administers to it's clients.

Group Policy is what controls the permissions on the client, like times the phone can be used, what apps can be used, internet lockdown, preventing downloads, settings lock out, just about anything you want to lock down on a phone can be done with Group Policy.

Their is an issue with the host system being on in order for Group Policy to work, so we thought that a clustering cloud service could be used.

Clustering is basically a secondary server that backs up the primary if an update is being done, or the system is experiencing hardware/software issues.

The Clustering Cloud Server could be accessed from another tablet or PC, but remember, once you set the permissions on the Host, their isn't anything to do.

The Group Policy will retain the schedule you set for the client side as long as one of the two hosts are available, which more than likely will be, but again it won't matter.

Group Policy is a Domain/Client solution and even in a D/C environment the Client can log in locally and can bypass the Group Policy.

This way, access to the phone services could be used without being connected to the host.

If the phone couldn't connect to the hosts for some reason won't matter because the Emergency Phone numbers will always work and locator services will always be enabled.

The next trick thing would be is Scripts:

Scripts are a bit technical, but they can be cookie cut at this point that would attach devices to your phone as you come into your environment.

Let's say you have a printer that you like to use at your house, well the script would run as soon as you log in to your local network at home and the printer would be added to your device.

Lets say you downloaded some pictures or links on your phone, well if you created a shared folder through the cloud you could transfer files back and forth real easy and no data minutes used.

Fraud Watch...

One of our friends was in Olympia today at a gas station filling up gas in their work truck.

They have been filling up their work truck at this gas station for 14 years and knows the owner and son by first name basis.

The Gas is paid for by the Company so nothing personal here, just business as usual.

Something strange happened though this particular day while they were filling up their gas tank with Diesel.

If you have a diesel vehicle you'll know that you need to stand and watch the nozzle and pump to make sure that gas doesn't start spilling out because the pumps usually don't shut off automatically with the diesel pumps.

So again, same sh*t, different day...but what was different about today is that they ended up paying for more gas than they ever had before for this truck.

The pump was reading 17 gallons and all of a sudden the screen flashed and when it came back the gallons were 41 and the price was 125.00.

At first they were like whawhawhawhaaat, but sure enough the pump registered 41 gallons and 125.00 dollars.

They went to the Owner who was there and they told them about the issue and the owner said, your tank is 41 gallons, but it's not, it's only 22 gallons.

The owner insisted that the tank was 41 gallons, but when they showed them that it wasn't, and that it was only a 22 gallon tank, the owner became irate.

The owner insisted that the tank was 41 gallons even after they showed them the documentation of the truck and that it was only 22 gallons.

This person has been going to this gas station for 14 years, saw the documentation about the truck and still insisted that it was 41 gallons and that they were lying to them.

They insisted that the driver was lying to them and began to go off on this person calling them a liar and continued to stick to their story about the 41 gallon tank.

The Gas Station is located at 3444 Southbay Rd NE Olympia, Washington (360) 491-1114.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Southbay-Grocery-DeliChevron/181731405196365

For 20 minutes this driver tried to explain to them and show them that the truck is only a 22 gallon tank, but it was what happened next is when the driver realized that it was useless.

They asked them to check their video feed and to check the gas pump to see if there was a mistake and to call their Boss if they found something, and what did this person do...

They crumbled up the number and threw it back at them and told them to get out.

Gotta love that Washingtonian charm :-) and thankfully for the Superbowl you gotta a little taste of their good nature.

You know, with the Doug Baldwin defecation ball drop, ass wiping touchdown celebration 15 yard penalty and 11,000 dollar fine of Washingtonian Charm.

...Or the fight they caused in the End Zone because they lost the game and became sore losers.

Anyway, if this happens to you at this location or somewhere else, there is a number you can call to have the gas pumps checked...360-902-2035 "Weights and Measures"
http://agr.wa.gov/Inspection/WeightsMeasures/

Well come to find out there is a gas station just down the road from this place that is 40 cents cheaper and it goes without saying, they'll be going to them from now on.

There was actually another person there that was having a problem with the gas pump next to them as well at the same time, and they treated that person just as poorly as they did our friend.

There might be a software glitch in the Software of Chevron, so you may want to pay attention to the gallons and cents that are going into your gas tank.

Just a Heads UP!

Get Your Measles Shot...

People don't be stupid, GET YOUR MEASLES SHOT! This is a proven vaccine and needs to be done and doesn't cause side effects.

Get your Polio shot, again, a proven vaccine and needs to be done and doesn't cause side effects.

The problem is the vaccines that they are pumping into children when they are born, it's the Molotov Cocktail of medicine that is in need of improvement.

The other BS vaccine is the Flu Shot that they are telling everyone to take, this is a Bayer and Baxter concoction that only gives you the Flu and makes you sick.

That is why all those senior citizens are in the hospital right now, because they are the believers and run right out and do whatever the Govt. tells them to do.

You can't trust a Scientist that works for the Government, they are paid to lie, and will swear up and down that they telling the truth and coincidentally enough is a red flag when they swear up and down.

It's the private sector scientists that are your only trustworthy source of good information and quality care.

In order to prevent getting a cold you'll need to wash your hands when you go to the bathroom, or after you touch something dirty.

It's real simple folks, just have a clean lifestyle, wash your hands and you'll prevent getting sick every year.

The other problem we have now, is that the good scientist the smart ones are retiring and we now have the "Generational Gap" problem.

These are boot campers that come out of college thinking they are going to be the next Louis Pasteur the Pre-Madonna's of the modern age that listen to no one, but the voices in their head.

The problem with multi-vaccines today is simple, it's a compatibility problem and is causing defects in people due to evolution.

They aren't focusing on today's elements of Climate Change, green gasses, GMO and HIGH FRUCTOSE Syrups :-D

It's the main problem with Corporations, they are so afraid of the pension fund payouts. The promise of investing in the company that will provide for your future in retirement.

The 401k lie, so they hire young and dumb, cheap labor to manage the day to day that someone else smarter than they are designed.

It's the flawed infrastructure of business that diminishes and destroys and inevitably sells out to the highest bidder and takes all the money, leaving you with a 30-40 year resume that no one wants.

Get your measles shot!

Life after Football...

The Superbowl has been linked to the main reason why people give up on their New Years Resolution(s).

Whether they win or they lose doesn't matter, because this event brings out the worst in people.

It's also the third most popular day for people to relapse, just behind Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Superbowl parties, disgruntled family reunions, mass food varieties, drinking and drugging brings out the binge in people.

If the Team loses in the Superbowl, or the family member won't let go of the past drives these people to their worst habits.

The problem starts with the person thinking that this time it's going to be different, and when it isn't, they don't have a counter plan, so failure is imminent.

You can't rely on other people to change, you have to expect the worse, and plan for that, but don't go in eyes closed, keep them open and engage with them.

If you don't change the present you won't be able to change the past, which in turn is your relapse in the future.

That is why Anger is you best defense in these situations, anger clarifies and prepares you for the inevitable.

Being humble is not the correct emotion to go into hostile situations with, because it leaves you weak and vulnerable and unable to control your responses.

That anger can be good for getting things done around the house now that football isn't on Every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

You know, the times that everyone gave you your space to do what you want and to act a fool and get drunk with your buddies.

Don't feel regret because your team lost the Superbowl or that your game isn't on that day, because this is the time to get something done around the house.

A happy wife is a happy life can be trickled down to any situation that you may have at your place, even if you live alone, you can improve your surroundings with the time you have now.

Paint a wall, clean out that crawl space, tear up that carpet and put down tile or wood, finish the bathroom, clean the garage or just clean your house :-P

It's winter time and with daylight savings doubles the somber moods people feel in Winter because the days are cold and gloomy.

Brightening up your domicile improves your health mind-body and soul and improves the value of your home.

For you people with Kids, this is their crunch time at school. It's the final stretch to continuation or graduation, so get involved with their studies or get them prepared for their prom.

By doing all these things speeds up the days and before you know it, it will be football time again and everybody will be excited to come to your place now that you have improved your home.

Suppressing your anger with drugs and alcohol will only compound your problems.

Stop listening to talk radio shows. These morons only bring you down day after day, reminding you of the lost game, or the bad weather, or idiotic topics that just makes you upset and dumberer.

Buy a Rosetta CD and learn a new language instead of listening to moronic topics like, what was the worst thing you did when you were a kid.

This is negative reminders of what you are feeling already and does nothing to improve your quality of life.

In America for Example the Primary Language is English, but people are coming here refusing to learn English.

The lunch room is filled with people speaking their own language that you don't understand and they don't want you to, because they like that you aren't a part of their group.

They make you feel more uncomfortable than you should because you can't engage, but by learning a language gives you the advantage because now you can speak Two Languages to their one.

In order to improve your surroundings you'll need to lead by example which puts you back in charge and improves your chances of bettering your position/career.

Employers like it when employees are bilingual/trilingual...Quadlingual :-D, you'll never be able to learn all the languages, so pace yourself.

Remember, it's all just a game, and whether you win or lose isn't as important as just being able to play and before you know it, you won't be angry anymore...and that's a fact!

Here's an Idea...

The Power Lines that are strung along telephone poles is as old as the Telegraph and needs to be changed, and not only that, they're hideous looking.

Every time the wind blows or the weather changes to snow the lines go down by a fallen tree or some catastrophe and the result is a power outage until they fix the lines.

Fixing the lines mean someone in a truck has to be dispatched and they have to drive out there in their little truck which takes time.

The weather could be so bad that the repair person can't even drive out there which means the power could be down for days or it's more than one downed line.

If they can have wireless chargers and wireless headphones, they should be able to have wireless power grids.

Not only that, they would have batteries as well that would keep power on to the homes in case a malfunction happened or an update is being performed.

This way there wouldn't be a need to send a truck out to fix a line, because it can all be done at the NOC.

The World has gone digital so they would have it all software driven on encrypted private networks.

This also goes for the homes that are being built.

Homes should be more energy self-sufficient and they should make use of Solar and pellet stoves to heat.

When you have lived in a home that is officially off the grid it's awesome. No more ridiculous amount to pay to the electric companies anymore.

Houses are built in a way that they self heat and self cool. They provide a year round temperature that is comfortable and free.

Plus with the wireless grids you wouldn't have to spend so much on utility vehicles and any other wasted expenses to support this nostalgic architecture.
