The Start-Stop Technology for Automobiles...

This is a technology that came out of Germany, that was to help in vehicle's energy efficiency...

People think that climate change is being caused by the pollutants people are putting in the air, and nothing could be further from the truth...

What's happening with our Earth is a natural progression/regression that has happened already 66 million years ago with the extinction of the Dinosaurs...

The Earth is shifting and because of that, the climate is changing, and there is nothing you can do about it...

This start and stop technology is a perfect example of an idea that was introduced without any long term thought process whatsoever...

They didn't take into account the increased use your starter will go through having to start your car over and over again...

They didn't take into account when the car is put into reverse from a rolling forward movement the car stops and jerks into reverse because the car is starting while being shifted...

You lose all your resources in the car while the engine is off, no heater, no A/C, the car has to be braked because it will roll backwards if on a hill...

This works great for an All Electric car or a car that's in electric mode, but for a Fuel Motored car is very quirky...

You have to be careful and considerate when introducing new ideas into an already established solution that has worked for many years...

Stop using people as your guinea pigs without a precaution put in place to protect the driver other than an extended warranty service agreement...

You can disable the Start-Stop feature on some cars, but it has to be reinitiated every time you start your car...

We've seen this mentality before where a tech thinks they have the solution to a problem, or they think that they have discovered a new idea and want to test it on production servers...

 

What they don't understand is that they have no skin in the game, and if you bring down a production server you'll take food out of the mouths of everyone...

 

CEO's you need to put your foot down on this behavior and remind them that they don't pay the bills and that you need to test it on development servers/cars before you go live with your so called solution...

 

Sure they'll promise up and down that it will work and will probably rant and rave like a 5 year old that didn't get a toy, but their bark is worse than their bite and the only person that will have to answer for a production unit being down is you...and that's a fact!

Recently Fortune.com wrote an article about WHO SHOULD WE SUE for the Ransomware Malware program that infected millions of computers...

The part that he missed in his article was, infected all the computers that "WEREN'T CURRENT"...

 

There was already a patch that was available from Microsoft that everyone could download to protect themselves from this latest attack...

 

If they "WEREN'T CURRENT" they could get infected, and they did...

 

Windows 7 Windows 8 and Windows 10 operating systems are still receiving updates from Microsoft, the difference between 7 and 8 from 10 is that 7 and 8 aren't receiving new features...

 

If you're using any other Microsoft Operating system you shouldn't be on the net, and if you are it's the risk you accept...

 

Surfers surf in the Ocean where there are sharks, but does that stop them...NO...and if they get attacked, do they SUE the Shark...NO, because they know the risks...

 

If you put your Operating system on the Internet you risk swimming with sharks that know how to bite through nets...

 

If you wanna sue someone you should sue the person that thought of the Internet, or the people that built the internet, because it's the Internet or the Ocean that's dangerous...

 

Maybe we should shut down the Internet and while were at it, we'll drain the Ocean :-D but that'll only create new problems...

Before the internet people were downloading viruses on computers with Floppy Disks, so that's the paradox you have to be prepared for when you shut down the Internet...

 

You're not going to shut down the Internet because it's opened up the Eyes of the World to the Atrocities and Beauties that the World consists of, and your general curiosity drives its existence...

iOS and iTunes Update...

iOS has another update...https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207798

You should be at 10.3.1 currently and the update that you should be going to is 10.3.2...

There is also an iTunes update, you should be at 12.6.0.100 and you should be going to 12.6.1.25...

We did it a little bit different this time, we updated our iTunes first, we'll then be doing a Backup on the new version of iTunes, but we will NOT update our iOS yet...

We don't recommend updating your iOS until Friday or sometime this weekend...

It's just like Windows updates, no sense rushing anything, just wait for the dust to settle then if no problems, update...

We'll update this post when we upgrade and any articles we find...

 

**UPDATE**

 

Wellllllll, it's a good thing we waited, Apple just came out with another update, 10.3.3 beta, so you know they'll be another update after this one...

 

Do you update to the beta...only if your a tech and are/or love glitches, otherwise, chill for now...

 

10.3.2 is working just fine and remember, there's an old saying in computers, if it ain't broke don't fix it...

 

We haven't found out why they upgraded so fast, but we'll update as soon as we get credible information...

Well, so far we can't find any information out of the ordinary with the 10.3.2 update so go ahead and update it's okay...

 

sidenote: Disable your lock screen while updating.

 

As for the 10.3.3 "Beta" update, well that's a curious one for sure...

 

They're keeping it operation hush hush for now, because typically when you update they're is a security link on the update with information on it, but not on this one...

 

We wouldn't recommend updating your phone, but if you have an iPod that you just play around on, then that would be better to install on...

 

That way if it bugs out your iPod, who cares :-D it's just an iPod...

 

sidenote: Not to take anything away from Steve Jobs and Toshiba with the iPod, it was a technological marvel, it's just there is another technological marvel and it's called...backup ;-) backup, backup, then...backup again, Baby!
