DW Resolved

We have now finished the final touches on the latest issue with Tabs and DLLHOSTS CPU increase due to DW...It should be a part of the next update, still pending the final, final, final...final results ;-)

UPDATE: dllhosts CPU increase wasn't a fix that DW did per say, it's just a coincidence with the tabs. I am associating it to the Adobe Flash program and was out of date. Which takes us to our next question: why didn't Adobe Flash automatically update, we have it set that way...

In the meantime you can update your patch that was recently posted to fix the dll hosts CPU increase with this one patch update removed. The update won't last for long. This patch addresses the Open Tabs issue, but brings back the dll hosts CPU increase coincidentally enough, but make sure Adobe Flash is up to date first as dllhosts have been stable with DW Tabs patch and Flash update:

**UPDATE**
dllhosts increase has returned regardless of Flash Update. Takes me back to an original theory of a hardware conflict. DW sees nothing related to its program, however, it only happens when DW is running. Tabs are still stable.

**UPDATE**
Dllhosts file is not a hardware conflict. After further investigation I have seen that it may be linked to secured files option under advanced of DW. DW has an option to secure personal folders and since I have released those folders the dllhosts file seems to be gone. Still testing...

sidenote: You can't secure main folders ex. documents, pictures, videos, but you can secure the files within these folders. So is the theory ;-)...still testing...

inpassing: Yes this dll issue happened with MBAM, and MSE, it also happened with DW alone. We do however see dll being raised in MBAM...something in the passing of information I guess...still testing...

**UPDATE** Folders are secure and stable, another coincidence. Tabs still stable, dll is becoming the little gremlin that could...

Thank You Shawn for noticing this issue and Thank You Ilya, as ALWAYS, for your Unquestionable Talent.

OBTW argghh! We just heard another person complain about Microsoft and that they always get hacked and Apple gets hacked and that they were going to the :-D...pause...The Linux or the Ubuntu...phewww.

We just have to smile when we hear about a person like this, who blames everything on something else. They are like the Senators blaming Obama for...Everything.

They are like the person that thinks Data is pronounced Dat-a...you know, like Tomato is to Tomahto, don't get us started...phewwww.

Where was I...Oh yeah, who is to blame? It's that damn, or it's the damn or it's that damn such and such-who and who that caused the issue...pause...phewww.

Look, we have a Windows system built for one of the worst computer users we can think of and are working on a Laptop of theirs that we are now working on for the first time.

sidenote: They know that we are writing about them, and are happy to be the ones that teach another ;-)

I built a system for them in 2010, and still today, 4 years later, it's on the same load and runs FASTER than it did the day I built it, and like a Chevy, will just get faster...and that's a fact!

Why can a user that has no experience with a Computer have a computer last as long as that and...longer, (that's what she said) simple, because... "THEY DO EXACTLY WHAT WE TELL THEM TO DO"...and that's a fact!

They know nothing about nothing when it comes to bad websites and could honestly give a rats ass, but here they are 4 years later running as smooth as silk.

All we have done is have them do their updates on the second Tuesday of every month and renew their subscription to DW every year for 12.95 and MBAM for 19.95 = 37.90 a year.

That's right, they only spend 37.90 a year (.10 cents a day) for their renewal fee and have never, we repeat, NEVER been compromised.

I go to malware infected sites every day and all the time, but yet, I leave unscathed every single time, why? Simple, because I use DW coupled with a simple Antivirus program.

example: www.watch32.com to name one ;-) be careful...and that's a fact!

Currently, we use for our 32 bit systems DW and MSE only. We came from DW and MBAM, but we don't like MBAM anymore, and have gone to MSE from MS.

MSE is an Antivirus program and an after the fact program. Which means that you can still get a Virus, but don't worry, it's only a Virus, and an Antivirus program can remove a Virus.

If you you know us, then you'll know that we leave our Windows Updates off all the time. Which means that once a month we "Manually" update the AV, and still...we are as clean as a whistle.

sidenote: A whistle collects spit ;-)

The Whistle Syndrome...don't get us wrong, we aren't stupid, and even we know about the "6th Way to Breach a Computer" and know that we are just as vulnerable as anyone.

As a matter of fact, if you knew us from CWBZONE, then you'll know that we challenged DW, then, a whole thing happened with DW that was not foreseeable, but that's too much to get into, so in short, we lost :-D

However, we double dared, and guess what, we got hacked, but a friendly how do you do hack. It's true, whether you believe it or not.

sidenote: You Win, Alias HaCker ;-)

Did we reload our system, no, why should we, it's not a noticeable pop-up irritation hack, it's just a...let you know that we are here, and can come back, regardless if you reinstall or not hack...and that's a fact!

You have to learn how protect yourself, before you go out surfing. Remember, Safety first, and we mean it!

You will get hacked whether you're a normal user, or the best user, it's inevitable, why, because that's just how it is.

Linux can get hacked as did "OPENSSL" which is basically...Linux. Linux is "Open Source" so it put a kabash on their, WE ARE SO SECURE plight with a DID WE MENTION THAT WE ARE FREE, chaser argument ;-)

sidenote: Anarchy doesn't work, sorry Kids :-(

You're going to get hacked regardless of what you do and how good you are, the question is, how much are you willing to spend to house that security?

MSE is free, whereas MBAM is not, but it's only like 24.95 new and 19.95 something renewal, coupled with DW New 39.95 or renewal of 12.95 =  37.90 or 64.90 or renewal of 40 bucks (.10 cents a day) for an entire year of protection.

Not bad, but now...we only spent 12.95 this go around and will be good until next April @ .03 cents a day :-D

Kaspersky is an "ALL" Around solution, for Enterprise and Single PC or both, but is 60.00 a year and up, depending on which version you need.

I recommend Internet Security 2014 for Personal 64 bit PC users, as for anything else, you're on your own.
http://usa.kaspersky.com/products-services/home-computer-security/internet-security/

These solutions that we mention and anyone else that is in the business will tell you that these solutions are only good for a year and will need to be reevaluated every year.

DW is by far the longest trusted program we have ever used, but does that mean it will be trusted next year? Who knows, but know this, we'll reevaluate it just to make sure ;-)

We would Love to leave you with some Stupid Ass Cliche', but seriously, we LUV you too much for that kind of BS.

So what we'll do is reinstate what we already said and call it a night...how much are you willing to spend to house that security?
