Here's an idea, POW Workware Clothing Line.
Recently Seattle "Employees" took on the State of Washington and eventually the Nation and got people's attention that the minimum wage should be 15.00 an hour.
...and they won, Unanimously!
It got so much attention that the Federal Govt. was even going to raise it's minimum wage to 10.15 an hour or something along those lines, but it didn't pass.
Coincidentally enough, the Employers from Seattle are fighting it and are offering a 12.50 minimum wage with health and profit sharing benefits that could equal 15.50 an hour.
That's right, they are offering .50 more to basically take stock and cash split and cross your fingers just for luck that our business doesn't go under.
sidenote:It's like they are preserving the other businesses from having to pay the raised minimum wage of 15.00.
That's an idea, sure, that's a good idea. Put your employees on the Profit Side of the Company and have them feel they can only hurt or help the situation.
Sure it would be easy to just raise it to 15.00 an hour and then the employee does what they do now and that is, just sit on their hump.
Most Employees don't care about your company, they only care that the check doesn't bounce. Most people are doing what they gotta do to just make ends meet.
Check to Check and heaven forbid they have an emergency, because that'll have to come out of the rent money, or the utilities or gas for the car...walk!
Employers are now saying they want a voice...now? Now you wanna voice, what about before, what...you mean...you weren't our voice?
You mean you are just speaking for us, Now? hmm, and all this time, oh who cares, right? That's right, because if you don't like it, there's a 1,000 more waiting to see if they do!
Like it that is, but enough of that, on with the Topic at hand...POW Workwear Clothing Line and Apparel.
It will look like the Workwear clothing that is out there today, but the stripes will be vertical instead of horizontal.
They will still be fluorescent so you can be seen of course and for style we'll sort-of do a flame at the stripe instead of the traditional straight line to the cuff ;-)
What's that? What does POW stand for? Simple, Prisoner of Work, that is who we are, right?
sidenote: Most employees have an Employee number, which they could have monogramed onto the suit in case you forget. Plus, you won't have to change the name on the clothes, when you change employees ;-)
Maybe not, maybe there is hope yet, North Dakota with a 7.25 an hour minimum wage decided that wasn't enough. Really...please continue, so the "Companies" raised IT.
However, not with the state, the Companies took it upon themselves to raise it, due to the fact they know that their employees earn every red cent of that penny, every hour of every day they are with you!
They didn't rely on the state to raise it, they just did it themselves, and oh yeah, isn't their economy bustling? Yes, as well as South Dakota.
McDonald's is one of those companies that pays their Employees 15.00 an hour, really?
We don't eat at McDonalds, but after hearing that, we may have to pay them a visit, heard their buttermilk biscuits are real FLUFFY! :-D
Anyway, this line of clothing would be a good idea for us, and would be really cool. Plus, like they have a chain that goes to your wallet and buckle, they would have one that went to your leg and the machine.
When you are done you just unfasten your buckle and clip it onto your belt loop, and get ready to do again tomorrow.
We also see a smock design here to. This would keep loose clothing away from conveyors and machinery.
However, the smock gets hot, so perforate it and let it breathe. Keep the pockets and solid lining around the pocket areas, just mesh the rest ;-)
You'll be able to add flare to your new clothes by the shoes. As the salesman with the Blue Suit and the "Red" tie to bring out those eyes...will be your shoes.
Remember, "It's not who you are, it's what you wear, because who really cares who you are anyway"...and that's a fact!

Microsoft Sayz...
Fire Siri, hire Cortana...
See, they are horrible at marketing, they just think because you rhyme it, that it's gotta' be true, but rhyming doesn't work that way, it has to come natural, then it's true.
Plus, if Cortana is so good, Siri will wanna quit...and that's a fact!
Why was Steve Jobs so good at what he did? Was because he knew who he had to be around in order to make what he saw work.
You can learn a lot from a person like that MS, maybe you should start...learning that is...On Project 9, but this time...get it rigth!
sidenote: Even our President is bad at marketing. He was online with Team USA after their loss and instead of wearing the jacket, or having it present he just told them, "I Still Have Your Jacket"...Kind of like he meant that Oh, I Still Have Your Jacket, should I ship it to you...The correct response should have been "I Still Have Your Jacket...ON!" It's ALL about the response and MS responds with Action not Words, but if you're gonna put adds out there MS treat it like you do your product, K...k...

Still testing with DW and dllhost CPU increase.
Currently we are disabling Aero Interface to see if this is the issue...still testing...
Aero was introduced with Vista, then to 7 and removed in 8, so, might as well get "un"used to it ;-)
The fastest way to disable Aero is to do it from System/Computer Properties-Control Panel\System and Security\System once there look to the left pane and click Advanced Properties.
Once there, go to Performance-Settings (Top Box) once there take the checkmark out of Enable Aero Peek, (alphabetical order) now apply/ok...reboot/restart same thing ;-)

Splitting the Kernel
This is again, something we saw awhile ago. We even blogged a proposed solution of such type of a device.
The idea is to get more out of the hardware then it currently serves, or rather, is allowed to serve.
They are holding this technology back due to low profits. Imagine, if you could use one system to service two individuals...
We see it going to 4 actually on "ONE" System, "ONE" OS and "ONE" Kernel...and that's a fact!
From here, you have so many options available to you for sharing. Your Data can stay at home, where the computer is, but you are free to move around the Universe...or where there is a signal ;-)
The PC is on all the time and can be accessed from anywhere...anywhere signal is available ;-)
Resources are running low and alternative solutions were needed to be put in place to maintain stability.
That is why we are seeing electronics going smaller and smaller to virtual to cloud...POOF!
Monitors will be your computer soon enough and you can buy them in many different sizes and you can place them just about anywhere.
More than likely you won't even use a computer anymore like we do now. The PC would be Hosted at a Secured location for you like Server is today.
You could buy the computer of your dreams with just a subscription. Guaranteed Hardware reliability and redundancy, up to date and secure.
Your security, email, apps everything will be installed and maintained by a Company like Go Daddy or the like.
sidenote: and so will your Internet! Monitored and Partnered with, more than likely...
Customers have complained about too much for that and too much for this, just load the OS and make sure Internet works and GET OUT!!!
FREAKS!
The idea in the past for invention was Pong, so let's progress and go Battleship? One Computer, One OS, One Kernel, Shared Hardware/Software, Shared Data, Multitasking, NO OPEN FILE VIOLATIONS, head to head, anything one user can do two users can do better and so on and so on...
The current solution is to buy one device for each user. What if you could buy one device for two users...now what about 4...
4 would be max for now due to hardware restrictions, but if bans are lifted, so will technology for Hardware Makers.
sidenote: What do we see...oh let us see some SWEAT at least...ok, 32 is the number we actually see...and is just the beginning...
Hardware Makers are struggling right now, because the world has gone smaller, virtual, cloud...POOF!
It's a Software game right now and Hardware ain't invited...and that's a fact!
...but what if, you decided to start your own club...
Start creating single hardware solutions for multi users. The PC is not out by any means and is more specialized, where tablets and phones are just toys, but the PC's are your bread and butter...and that's another fact!
It will all balance itself out, but to do that, we need to balance the budget by consolidating our hardware expenditures, you know what I mean???
Here are a couple of Links on the subject and this is an ongoing post...
Split KMS and GPU Drivers:
http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA2MDM
Another discussed idea to avoid creating a bunch of file-system nodes, is to allocate these resources on-the-fly. All mode-setting-resources would now be bound to a DRM-Master object.
https://dvdhrm.wordpress.com/2013/09/01/splitting-drm-and-kms-device-nodes/
The multi-user kernel extensions, originally developed for Windows NT 4.0 Server, Terminal Server Edition, have been enhanced and fully integrated as a standard part of the Windows Server 2003 family kernel...

Hwys Cont...
The three finger rule goes for the lanes as well for the on and off ramps. Two to the left and one to the right and yes, you can turn on a red light.
What Retarded Genius thought of the 5 lanes of traffic funneled into a one lane off/merge ramp HELLOOO!!!
You want to get mad at them, the people that create these messes in the first place, but who to blame, the Architect, the Politician or the Engineer?
You can't, plus, most of them are all dead of old age anyway, so not much good there.
Nope, the real problem is the Slow left hand drivers and the accident makers.
If an accident happens and it's your fault, you should be grounded from driving for one month on your first offense.
While you are banned from driving you will need to go to a safety course on how to drive!
Second offenders will be banned from driving for 6 months, and so on and so on.
These are the people that cause the delays on the highway. You could put 12 lanes on a highway and they would be full, so adding lanes is not the entire solution.
The Looky-Loo syndrome:
People should not pull over on the road if they are being pulled over by a police officer. They should turn at the next exit and pull into a public location.
There are so many reasons for that we can't count, and we don't have the time or energy to point them all out.
The "LEFT LANE IS FOR FASTER VEHICLES" no Semis, no grannies, no jerkoffs, just intelligent drivers only!
You also need to build an exit off the freeway before the main exit and build a frontage road for people.
These are great for two reasons, keeping traffic flow and great advertising. A lot of cars on the highway hint hint.
What else...what else...hmmm there was something else...

Here's an Idea
When a friend owes you money, let's say they borrow 20 bucks (20 dollars US) and want to pay you back, but your schedules are conflicting.
Plus, it's only 20 bucks, right? So, you don't want to drive to their work and maybe bother them in a middle of their shift to pay them 20 bucks.
Not to mention, most schedules are congruent, so you may be trying to find your friend at lunch which is more than likely lunch for them :-(
So...what do you do???
Everyone has a phone by now, so make an app that pays your buddy, PYB or Pay My Buddy PMB,
or...exactly, you get it.
sidenote: You could also Loan My Buddy (LMB) money just as fast as they can pay it back. It will even have a reminder that will alert the borrower that it's the day you promised to pay me back, remember...buddy?
Something like pay pal, but more with BitCoin. This would make it easier and you would be investing their money at the same time.
That's a Win Win!
Tap it on your device and Viola, your paid, pay to cash or credit...put it in their account or pay to debit ;-)

Seattle 15.00 an Hour Minimum Wage
In a Nutshell, the people from SeaTac which is basically just the Seattle Airport area, lobbied for a better wage.
They deal with some of the most impatient, rude etc etc etc travelers and maybe a nice couple from time to time, but one could only imagine...
So right now only SeaTac has the ability to raise to 15.00 an hour, the neighboring cities are fighting it.
Franchised Companies like Applebees are required to be compliant in 2018, as well as Corporations.
sidenote: Franchised Companies are appealing at a Federal Level that they don't have to comply to Corporate standards, considering they are just the Franchisee...
Smaller businesses, not sure about non-profits, will have to be compliant by 2022.
The increase won't start until April of next year, but it will only be a dollar. They just have to be compliant within three years.
Smaller companies have 7 years. Again, not sure what non-profits requirements are.
If that isn't enough, Seattle was just voted 4th congested State, falling behind, LA # 1, then San Francisco, somebody else then Seattle.
However, they aren't satisfied with being 4th, so they are going for #1 status by removing one of the main highways that go into Seattle :-D Those Wacky Idea People :-P
Those "intelligent" ones tend to overthink things sometimes, the problem with highways is, that it doesn't follow the Three Finger Rule, all you need is three off ramps and three onramps ;-)
The minimum wage was higher in the 50's then it is today and they didn't have no welfare state, everybody...pulled their weight, gee, our old La Salle ran great...those were the days?
If you want your employees to give a sh*t, stop paying them sh*t, and viola...another fact!
quicktip: Learn by example. Think...Didn't you Focus??? Think, how did Google make all their money, think, how did Facebook make all that money...Selling Space for Advertisers. If you got a wall, that a lot of eyes look at, they'll Pay to Advertise hint-hint ;-) ;-)...

If Verizon were soooo smart...
Verizon has a commercial where this guy is at a bar with his tablet and the screens in the bar go out in the middle of the game.
He shouts out "Guys, I got it here" and they all huddle around this 10" screen to watch the game....
Any good network will have an internal DHCP service running to keep systems connected to devices...ie. monitors ;-)
sidenote: Verizon is the new HP.
Now the guy at the bar is "Obviously" if he is smart...is using their wireless, the situation:
Were guessing that the signal went out with their cable company or possibly yes, a router could have went out, but you have two.
Typically two routers do not go out, but the situations are different:
If you use the modem that you got the from cable company you'll have DHCP and Internet, if your cable company modem is out, then you'll use your internal router, but you'll only have DHCP w/out Internet.
sidenote: If the internal router went out, you'll need to take the Internet cable out of it and put it into the Ethernet switch. This device will have numbers on it, 1-5...10 even and more, but just take the cable that is going from the router to the switch out and replace it with the Internet cable. Viola, Straight in, until your router is replaced.
Either way, a connection can be made as long as the cable companies modem is wireless ;-)
Either way - again, you'll be able to output your signal to the screens that are in the bar.
So the "situation" and the Verizon Solution was to have everyone huddle around a 10" screen, when he could have just outputted it to the Screens in the bar :-P
If the internet is down you'll be using your Data Minutes, so think about what you are doing first before you share your data minutes, Bar Credit is always cool ;-)
sidenote: Verizon wasn't looking at the "Big Picture" because they were only concerned about the use of their minutes...which answers the question: the internet did go down :-)
That's how we see it, don't you...
**UPDATE**Internal routers were to add wireless to their network. Cable didn't come with wireless for a long time, but DSL did, so not always for DHCP. FYI DHCP is in there though ;-)
Which brings up the point if you don't have a "Wireless" option and have to connect your device directly in this can be done too, which brings us to Mode 5...
"Sandbox Mode"...which should remind us of two modes already out there...work and home or Mode 6 and Mode 7 :-)

Grocery Stores cont...
Have you noticed that grocery stores will remove "GOOD" items, if they oversell other items...Yeah?!
Employees have confirmed this as well!
So instead of removing a slow selling "have to have" item, they remove the "I Want" item instead.
Have only gotten feedback from employees from one National Chain, but they aren't the only National Chain that is doing this.
Obviously it is more expensive to hold onto a standard brand (Kraft) that doesn't sell compared to a specialty item that sells, but the profit is less.
It would seem that this would force smaller stores to stock it, leaving them with the high bill, but the I have it and they don't tagline.
They think if they stock it, regardless of losing money, will bring in more people to buy the other items they stock, the "Staple" items they carry, but they won't.
Why...it's simple, they know where to buy it cheaper! They're only there to get the item they can't get at the bigger store.
What happens...little store closes, big store GROWS-ES ;-)
Once the competition is gone, will you see the item on the shelf, but this time National Chain negotiates a new price and Big store GROWS-ES more-zez :-)
Eventually you'll get that favorite item back, but with the same high price, but this time, National Chain can afford it ;-)

Time to Change the Mode...
People are very trusting when it comes to their electronics devices that they take in for repair.
This isn't so much of a voluntary trust, more of a "I have to" trust agreement, but it doesn't have to be that way.
Customers should be able to turn on "Tech Mode" which would lock down their Users Folder and Personal Favorites/Bookmarks in your browsers.
Tech Mode should only give the Tech access to the operating system and the Apps in question. Yes, you could even lock them out of QuickBooks for example.
The other issue with not having a Tech Mode is that Customers either have to remove their password or tell the tech that is working on their PC, their personal password.
...and as we know, a lot of people use the same password everywhere, so this is a security vulnerability.
Your files are locked down by your password while in Tech Mode and could be unlocked if need be, by a folder at a time if you want.
sidenote: The mode will also log you out of your emails. A lot of people put a check mark in their password to leave them logged in and is a common thing to forget to do before you hand over your PC. Tech Mode will log you out automatically!
While in Tech Mode the system will boot into the desktop without a password. This way the Tech doesn't have to remember a password and you don't have to worry about your security.
The other mode that needs to be developed is Maintenance Mode/Backup Mode.
This can be a two in one process. When you want to do a Disk Defrag on your system you need to disable screensavers and power saving features, etc etc etc...
To defrag a computer can take hours and screensavers and power-management features are usually set a lot lower than that.
So what happens is that the screensaver kicks on, which disrupts the defrag/backup and then the system goes into hibernation mode and then pauses all services.
The result of this is no Backup or no Defrag will finish and will be the beginning of corruption on a computer.
If you schedule your Maintenance/Backup Mode for these days that are needed to run backups and defrags you won't have to go into each area and uncheck everything.
One and Done! Is the solution we are looking for. Just switch to Maintenance/Backup Mode and run your scheduled events as planned.
The Modes will also be able to be assigned to either reset the modes and put system back into original state and hibernate, or put system back into original state and shut down.
There's a third mode, there's always a Third...Oh Yeah, Travel Mode.
Travel Mode will incorporate "Facial" recognition coupled with Fingerprint authentication if needed/wanted.
You set your PC to travel mode if you have to tuck it away somewhere either for storage or travel. Once the system is turned back on it will send a text alert.
When the system is taken out of Travel Mode, regardless of situation, it will always take a snapshot of the user and send an email or text to verify authenticity.
You would of course be able to take control of your device in a situation like this and keep the user locked out.
Actually, thinking out loud, if the Insurance Companies and Manufacturers would warranty it, you could have the device self-destruct sort of speak.
Not allowing anyone to use it and make it useless if stolen takes out the desire.
You could also of course reset your device to factory settings and in order to reinstall it, you'll need to get a code from the vendor/mfg ;-)
Spy Mode:
This is for Parents/Guardians that want to keep an eye on their children's safety.
They can log in, have access to both cameras and leave a little bread crumb to let them know that they were just checking in, not snooping ;-)
Guess there were four, are there more...

"CNBC contacted a number of veterinary experts about the use of cannabis-related products to treat dogs and cats. All of them saw the potential for benefits for some conditions, such as anxiety and pain management. But they also pointed out that testimonials are not scientific evidence."
...:-D Scientific Evidence :-D like the scientists they used for determining if cigarettes were bad for your health? Those Scientists? :-D

Here's an Idea...
'of old: Smart Sound, introduced by Magnavox in 1992 (This date seems wrong to us, we think it came out earlier and was implemented before 1992) on its television sets, is designed to reduce sudden extreme changes in volume, namely the sound of TV commercials relative to the sound of the TV shows they follow. Magnavox refers to Smart Sound as “automatic volume control” to describe the feature’s ability to monitor the sound level of TV shows and limit how much louder the subsequent commercials will play.'
Sounds like a good idea, but it didn't work very well. It has to be done through the TV. I'm not sure, and am sure that someone will know.
The trouble came in when it tried to recognize the different signals that shows and ads run on. Something of the time reminds me that the two were on different frequencies or something.
The TV had trouble picking out the two, but since we can now have a Fax and a Phone Line on the Same Line, I thought it would be a little easier now, you know, been there, done that?
sidenote: Even when it did work like it was suppose to, it still couldn't stop the beginning of the ad from being loud, which was the point.
Oh well...
