5hVnz Book of the Month...

Thinking of the classics, this is a book that everyone should read if they are thinking of moving away from the billiards room and moving out to the range...

Pool is a game a lot of younger people play, because it's cheap and fairly easy to master because the field of view never changes...

Sure you can hear of a tighter pocket table, or faster greens, but it's just a rectangle with the same six holes in the same positions, the only difference is the accuracy of the shot...

When you're ready to move on from the musky old pool room to get some fresh air, try taking up golf...

The best thing about Golf is that, it's never the same game twice, so it will never get boring...

Sure, you'll get frustrated more, but that's because it's not a game you can master...

There's an old saying in golf, it's not a game you can win, it's a game you can play:

"When you play to win, you create tension and pressure that adversely affects your brain's chemistry and your ability to perform. If you play to play, you are relaxed and give yourself a chance to perform at a much higher level so you can win. However, as true as this is, most golfers continue to get caught up in the outcome and winning, which causes their game to suffer."

The best thing about golf with today's health conscious minds is your ability to get in your 5000 steps a day, so when the wifey complains about you being on the golf course all the time just remind her, honey, I got my 5000 steps in today, and she'll reply, that's awesome honey, and the argument is over...and that's a fact!

**UPDATE**

We heard some great advice from a long time player of the game when we asked them if my Club was too high on my return:

"There's no magic move, this elbow or those hips. Everyone thinks there is. There is only repeatable and not repeatable. Every swing change is only to make your swing easier to repeat identically. What do Jim Furyk, Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan's and Jack Nicklaus's swing have in common? Not a damn thing, except they've won all majors."
