Is it Diner or is it...Cafe'...

The nice thing about Restaurants is that you don't see evolutionary design or food preparation like you do see in Technology...

Technology Evolves, Restaurants progress because in Restaurant the atmosphere is based upon familiarity...

You typically try a new restaurant because there is a familiar charm about the look or the name of the place, but you stay because of the food...

sidenote: Yes, you'll tend to stay at a place for the food or atmosphere it brings regardless of the service...

We have always been involved with Restaurants throughout our life due to the financial aspect they brought to us, but of late we are more into their purpose...

It's hard to be good at something if you don't sit down and try it once in awhile, so just because you designed it, doesn't make you an expert on the subject...

The Diner is now being called a "Café" because the word Diner brings about a biased familiarity with people that interpret that name as, Mel's Diner or more direct, "The Greasy Spoon"...

However, the look of the Café hasn't changed any, it still has a counter where you can walk up to and sit and you have tables and booths that surround the Counter...

The progression of the Café is in the Patio they have built onto the diner and the food, the look is more modern, but still retains a bit of the nostalgic familiarity with the counter, but has now included a full bar to look at instead of the cooks in the Kitchen...

It's very important to retain some nostalgic ambience to not scare away the locals that have come accustomed to a certain look and feel their neighborhoods should adhere to...

However, things are changing and at an accelerated rate due to the lack of resources we have available to us that War's and Oil have destroyed over the recent years...

Designing pipelines along rivers and streams and continuing to use a poorly designed rail system to transport that oil on has devastated peoples way of life...

The necessity for change has been a fabricated tale that companies like Big Pharma massively pump into our media that GMO is the future of food, and at the rate we are going, they may be right...

GMO (Genetically Modified Organism)...you know it used to be that you could trust your local grocer, but now we are being told to trust some no name scientist...

People have changed the way they buy their food because they want to know where it comes from and thanks to that change local farming has seen an uptick in sales...

However, companies like Monsanto and Bayer will capitalize on that way of thinking and start using your own words against you...

They'll understand the concept of buying local and trusting the person selling you that they too will start to use that in their campaign to fool you...

...and when they do, it'll be then that you'll see Evolution in Restaurant and how we are fed and it'll be then when you'll finally see an END of life as you knew it...

For now though, we have found a new Restaurant in Seattle next to the homeless encampments and the Meth Vans that run rampant through the city, but believe it or not, we found a little glimmer of hope that all is not lost...

The restaurant is called, The Egg and Us Café in Ballard that is absolutely what a Diner used to be and a Café it has become that removes the greasy spoon and serves only Culinary...

If you can't stomach driving through Seattle due to the vile stench we don't blame you, so go to Issaquah where it's a cleaner environment ;-)

Bon Appétit...

**UPDATE**

It's progressed faster than we thought...

They have now turned the Café into a Double entendre where they have a place where you eat the food to a place where you can pet the food...

They Call it the, "Animal Café" the Vegan Approach to rebranding the old Diner :-D

Now some would call that Evolutionary, but it's not and they should be careful what they wish for...

We're sure by now you've been to a Seafood Restaurant where you pick your lobster out of the case, all an Animal Café does is provide more variety, and they call that progression...and that's a fact!
