"After the report came out, BlackBerry’s stock price surged 30% to close at $12.60, its largest one-day rise in years. The price increase would have given the option buyer the opportunity to make a profit of nearly $500,000. It’s unknown whether the individual behind the trade followed through."

Looks like they were right, some risks are worth the reward, right Google...
Google and Samsung sittin' in a tree, kissing...
Apple iPhone takes smartphone lead from Google Android over crucial Christmas period...

Flashback:
For our "MOST LOYAL" followers, will remember that we said that Apple would beat Android, and we weren't alone in that.
Germany also believed in that as well, but most Americans just go with the winner or the new, but the "TRUE FANS" stay when their losing.
When Steve Jobs died was a devastating time for many people and many thought, us included thought that w/out Steve Jobs Apple would fail.
Statistically speaking that was the right thought, because every time Steve Jobs left, Apple would begin to fail and would come crawling back to Steve and beg him to come back EVERY TIME!
sidenote: Just like your Coach Pete Carroll, statistically he had the right thought, but only those that really believe in him, would have stuck with him...
We were like many and were at an Impasse with the BIG Three on the line, Microsoft, Apple and Google, and Google was looking really good at the time.
So like many, if not most jumped ship and went to Google thinking they were going to be the next big thing, and left those that got them there behind, like they never even existed.
During this Impasse we were struggling with our own issues and trying to decide what we should do with our future as well.
See when you're young you can make mistakes because the young are built of rubber and can bounce back easily and because they're so cute when they fall it's just too hard not to like 'em ;-)
However, when you get older, you don't bounce back as easy and you aren't as cute anymore, so we knew that companies like Microsoft and Apple couldn't make one wrong move.
So we had a choice, move to Palo Alto or Move to Seattle and here we are :-)
It actually came down to a last minute decision on why we came here, and it was Apple that helped us in making that choice.
First, Apple hired all the HP Web OS crew that got laid off from HP after Meg the Hatchett Whitman fired them and gave away a multi-billion dollar software for free.
The first thing the HP Web OS crew wanted to do for Apple was put out that damn stylus, and thought no wonder she fired them, but it worked.
Apple is designed for the Artist and it fit in with their style...stylus ;-) and we realized that they were no longer HP employees, they were now Apple employees and that was good enough for us.
Still, Apple wasn't looking too good and to add insult to injury they hired this Snake Oil of a Salesman John Browett that we knew from the minute the news hit the wire that he was all wrong for the company.
...and he was, they fired him and it was at that point that we knew Apple was going to be Okay.
So our vision was clear and the Earthquakes we're less likely to destroy the state of Washington than California :-S, but they do have Volcanoes :-D out of the frying pan and into the fire :-D
...which was a Vision of ours all the way back to 1989, but little did we know what the hell it meant then.
We knew Microsoft was in trouble long before Microsoft knew they were in trouble and since we were more of an MS brat than anything else, it just made sense to come here.
Which takes us into the next question that everyone asks us, if you are a Microsoft fan why aren't you a Seahawks fan...
That's a good question and if we gave it half a thought when we decided to move, we would be in San Antonio, because we're more of a Spurs fan, but we don't like watching basketball :-(
However, still a good question and we now know why we aren't a Seahawks fan.
See the Seahawks were in the AFC with the Broncos and yes, the Broncos are our Hometown team, but Broncos aren't our favorite, but we will always root for them when they play the Seahawks, but that's neither here nor there.
The reason we didn't like the Seahawks as you know was because of their Uniforms, they just didn't look manly :-( too transparent for our tastes.
Then they changed their uniforms and they are cool now and not so transparent, but still we just can't seem to be a Seahawk fan...
It's not the players, they're great, a little loud mouthed, but still a good team and even when they had those ugly uniforms we still liked the players, Zorn and Largent gave the Donkeys a good fight.
It wasn't until we moved here that we gave it any thought, because it's hard not to think about because all Washingtonians think about is Football Football Football Football ugh ugh ugh...
Before we answer this, you'll have to look past football, for once, and look at the BIGGER Picture...
We moved here to further our knowledge of Electronics and Computers and felt like that was never going to happen in Colorado, because they are wayyyy behind there, but they are further than you are.
It's like that old saying, "The plumbers Pipes are Always Broken" and there isn't anyone here except for us and the employees at Tech Companies that know anything about computers.
We thought we would never hear ourselves saying that, but you are further behind Colorado when it comes to knowledge.
Not only that, everyone uses Android and Apple phones, but a lot of Android and every word out of their mouth is Google it, Google it.
They do know Skype, but they don't have any idea where it came from or who owns it now, which is truly sad, for a Company that put you on the Map.
That's right, Microsoft PUT YOU ON THE MAP, not Boeing, they're a copycat Hughes wannabe, and JBLM knows it.
sidenote: Nothing wrong with having a dream ;-)
JBLM makes Boeing look like a Single Prop shop, and yet the Government wants to shut them down, but that's another story.
Nope, everybody wants to be like Mi...crosoft, so Amazon and Google and the handful of others that owe Microsoft their existence should be thankful for them, but they're not.
Most of your Companies run on Microsoft, except for the State of Washington.
Yep, while Governor Inslee is building some multi billion dollar over ran budget tunneling project for the brain dead posers that want another waterway, the State's infrastructure is falling apart.
The residents are on the hook for all those overruns while companies lose 40% business everyday already.
Coincidentally enough their software that runs the State is becoming unstable due to it being outdated, and if they don't hurry up and upgrade/change their software the whole damn thing could collapse...like their money pit of a project.
Instead of fixing the roads, the bridges, the highways, their software, they're using money to build a tunnel that mixes seawater with clean aquifer water, without a filter :-(
Coming from the 5th driest state in the nation to one of the wettest we just couldn't believe what we saw, and what a waste and how far behind their thinking is.
Never have we seen such wasteful people in our lives, and when you come from a place where every drop of water counts, just makes you cringe when you see the buckets of water they waste.
So you see, we don't want to be a Seahawk fan because we aren't a bandwagoneer...we're a Microsoft Fan and will always be...a Microsoft Fan.
When you put everything into place with what we have mentioned here and what we don't have time to write, will tell you that we didn't choose Seattle, Seattle chose us...
Seattle is in pain and people like Governor Inslee, Mayor Murray, Howard Schultz and people like them are killing her everyday.
We came here to help save Microsoft, because Microsoft made us the person we are today and when someone helps you become the person you are, you don't turn your back on them...and that's a fact!
sidenote: Just because it's fun to mention, did you see the Ad for Microsoft in the Superbowl...well, it looks like MS finally learned how to market themselves :-)
