The Key Fob Glitch...

Recently we discovered a little glitch with the Key Fob, formally known as the Proximity Key...

We're not 100% sure, but we think that all new cars are keyless, but that's not the point of this post, just a random thought...

Let's just say because we don't know Most of the new Cars come with a Proximity key to start and unlock your car...

We were playing a game called, lock the keys in the car, this is where you would put the keys to the car in the car and lock the door to see what would happen...

Well, with a key your keys are now locked in the car and you can't get in, but the proximity key won't allow you to lock the fob in the car, which is good...

However, what we discovered by playing this game is that you can drive your car without the fob in the car...

Once you start the car by pressing the start button in the car and getting out someone else can get in your car and drive it away...

They can drive and drive and drive, until they turn it off that is, that's when they'll need the fob...

Considering though, most people that steal cars are only going from A-B, so they don't need to turn off your car until they reach their destination...

A lot of times they're just looking for a joy ride, a get away car, or they're stealing it and taking it to a chop shop, either way...A-B...

We challenged this is many cars and they all have this problem, so it won't matter what you drive...

So the next time you think you can leave your car running when you go into a convenient store and think your car is safe because you have your fob in your pocket, think again...

Technology only thinks about the convenience their products will bring, because convenience yields them a payday, security is the last thought on their mind, because that takes away from their payday...

What scares us is that with autonomous vehicles and people still being so trusting they won't keep technology companies accountable to preservation of life...

Think about this, they're making Diesels autonomous now imagine yourself on the highway in your little car stuck in traffic and an autonomous Diesel traveling at 60 miles an hour without a driver behind the wheel and you have no where to go, will you trust this new technology to stop that truck just because they say it will...

Blind Faith is for religion not technology, keep their feet to the coals and demand accountability...
