Well we've used our experience with updates from Microsoft to hold out on updating our iOS with Apple's latest update and like we anticipated with a big UPDATE like this it was sure to have a patch right around the corner...
...and it did...12.0.1...
This is when we decided to update using common sense principles that 12.0.1 was a patch to fix all the broken *@#! in 12.0 and well, something is still wrong...
Our battery would last 3 days w/out any problem before the update, but now with the latest update we're seeing our battery life go down in a day and 1/2...
We've watched it go from 93% to now 54% in the last 7 hours with it just sitting around on a table with the only thing running is chat...
Don't get excited, we weren't chatting too much :-D hardly at all really, but it doesn't matter because chat never brought down our battery almost 50% in 7 hours in the past...
Well we should have waited for the 12.0.2 update which now we'll be doing as soon as it comes out...
We've always had a theory in the past and present as to why the battery life drains so fast...the company is downloading data in the background...
It's the only thing that makes sense in situations like this, oh sure they won't admit it, but hang around long enough and you can pretty much count on your good ol' buddy downloading your data...
The tech world is hurting for an original idea and the Stock Market will prove that theory, and they have...
You'd think with all this time on their hands they would prevent issues like battery drain from happening, that is if it's not from data capture ;-)
Don't let the cry's of Tim Cook supporting Data Privacy fool ya' he's just like the rest of em' data capture, analyze, exploit...and that's a fact!
**UPDATE**
In just a little over 12 minutes our phone has dropped 4% now at 49% just sitting on a table minding it's own business...
To this day we're still convinced Apple killed our iPhone 5s and we're still upset about it, but it's hard to prove...
By having your battery drain as fast as it is now "MAKES" you charge your battery more often which decreases the life of your battery...
Batteries have charge life and everytime you charge your battery it decreases it's little life span, so by having you update your battery more often gets you into the store to buy more stuff...
Having batteries that are not easily removable keeps you having to buy new phones...
They don't want you to update your battery, they want you to buy the latest phone...
The less they have to support older devices the easier it is for them to apply updates to their phones and with less problems makes them look like a hero...
We've told you before, the name of the game is sales and how they keep score, is profit...and that's another fact!
