A Message to Beyonce...

First of all we'd like to applaud your courage you took to take the stage at the CMA awards to introduce your inaugural rendition of your song, that took guts...

You have not been very well received that is for sure and unfortunately it seems to be status quo for you girl, but that's because you push the limits...

What a lot of people don't know is that Johnny Cash used to be considered Rock and Roll in his day which turned out to be what is known now as Rockabilly...

Johnny Cash played with stars like Elvis the Pelvis Presley and the Great Jerry Lee Lewis which helped promote the two styles of genres...

As for us, we have been around country all our life and know quite a little bit about it and have seen all kinds of artists try to break in and break out of country in one way or another to bring collections together, people together just trying something new, to bring out a new sound, and there is nothing wrong with that...

Being in Computers and Electronics our whole life we have seen a HUGE disconnect between people and would love to see the likes of what you and others have done to try and bring people together more...

They're trying, Microsoft is now incorporating Linux into their software and Microsoft has finally made Office a part of the Apple lineup, which is a BIG step for them...

What we do think though is that with a lot of things people come in with their grand ideas and culture and don't take into account the struggles that other cultures have gone through to get to the point they are at...

It's like you have to listen to what they have to say first before you start injecting your ideas without any forethought of their pain and joy they have experienced with the life they have put into words and music for others to hear...

...have respect...

Take your song for example, it's a great song, we really liked it, but it lacked a true country feeling to it...
Beyoncé - Daddy Lessons Ft The Dixie Chicks (Official Audio)

Your song had more of a New Orleans Jazz with a Banjo feel with a hint of harmonica and big band style in a way, mixed with pop...

sidenote: Speaking of which, Hey Country, where's the fiddle, there has got to be a fiddle in the band...

The thing of it is, Country doesn't really need help, it's more popular than ever right now because a lot of the music out there lacks substance and any real quality and really lacks any originality...

Country and Rap have a lot in common because they both get to the root of the pain that makes them speak out, sing out to be heard and hopefully listened to with understanding and hope that things can change that they do get their truck back, or the house doesn't get foreclosed on, or today nobody got shot...

We do think that you owe the CMA gratitude for debuting your song for you and we do think that people shouldn't be so critical of you as much as they should be with the CMA for taking their loyal listeners for granted...

You do have to remember though Beyoncé that Country stands for something and is always going to be sung a certain way, just like any genre of music, but what people have to understand is that some things get boring and we need to change it up a bit in order to find a new sound...and that's a fact!
