Microsoft Does the Backstroke...

Recently Microsoft has introduced a new software Analytics data collection service to help in the migration to Windows 10 for Enterprise Users...

"Upgrade Analytics" will determine whether or not your system is "eligible for upgrading to Windows 10"...really...

So, it didn't matter that you forced a download onto unsuspecting users that upgraded their system without their permission and without testing their hardware/software requirements for the past year...really...

sidenote: They had a cheap little testing software, but it's like getting a Medical Card for Marijuana, everyone's eligible if you're able to just turn and cough ;-)

...but it was free, so how can anyone argue with our philanthropic efforts..."Teri Goldstein of Sausalito, California Sues Microsoft Over Windows 10 Upgrade She Didn't Want or Authorize, Wins $10,000" ...

Windows 10's biggest advancement is the ability to load it across multiple platforms, that's it, other than that it's still based on x86 technology, so most software still works on it...

Linux can load on multiple platforms, Apple can load on multiple platforms, so really it's not that big of a deal, the biggest deal is the conformed desktop for mobile and desktop platforms...

However, departments need to justify existence in the ballooning software market that will never recover the cost involved with development...

Law suits are imminent, contracts will be broken, 3rd party solutions will undercut, job layoffs, software/hardware incompatibilities, security breaches, etc etc etc will take back all the money they put out for development...

The thing of it is Windows 7 is still receiving software upgrades and driver updates to this day because there is always going to be room for improvement due to advancements in tech...

So to say that your system is compatible for upgrade is a façade at best just to get you to upgrade your system to windows 10 in a hurry because they have an ulterior motive...subscription...

They want to start charging you monthly for your computer at fees starting at 7.00 a month, roughly 84 dollars a year, which is a soft number at this point, it could go up...

They can't do that with Window 7, so their motivation is Windows 10 and they are going to taunt you with security threats and compatibility issues that you will incur with older software...

Most systems out there running windows 7 will not endure these problems, because by LAW they have to maintain security and software compatibility until 2020...

The only downside to not upgrading is that you won't get the Browser Edge, which is still in Beta Form, and some buggy software made for Windows 10, and the loss of programs that aren't available in Windows 10, but still work for you and are relevant in Windows 7...

Intel is behind the 8 ball on their CPU's due to their persistence with perfection and we don't fault them for that, because the alternative is a placebo processor that's all hype...

Microsoft is even thinking about charging companies to load the Upgrade Analytics software on their Enterprise systems which will lighten the load on Software Developers bottom line...

Look, were all about using your resources wisely, but when you start charging companies for both the R&D and the Subscription to do so is double dipping, and that's wrong...

Plus, if you're an engineer and can't determine whether or not your PC is going to be compatible with Window 10, you shouldn't be an Engineer...

We'll save you the time, trouble and expense on whether or not your system is going to be compatible with Windows 10 by just telling you what you should have...

If you have a 5th generation or simply put an i Processor (i3, i5 or i7) and 6gb on your system, you're good to go, otherwise don't waste your time, money, patience, temper, and stay with Window 7...

Although, we love people that are adventurous, so if you have your data backed up or you don't care about your data, go ahead, have fun with it, you can still get Windows 10 for free for just a few more days...

Don't get us wrong, We love Microsoft , but it's usually the ones you love that hurt you the most...and that's a fact!
