Fraud Watch...

One of our friends was in Olympia today at a gas station filling up gas in their work truck.

They have been filling up their work truck at this gas station for 14 years and knows the owner and son by first name basis.

The Gas is paid for by the Company so nothing personal here, just business as usual.

Something strange happened though this particular day while they were filling up their gas tank with Diesel.

If you have a diesel vehicle you'll know that you need to stand and watch the nozzle and pump to make sure that gas doesn't start spilling out because the pumps usually don't shut off automatically with the diesel pumps.

So again, same sh*t, different day...but what was different about today is that they ended up paying for more gas than they ever had before for this truck.

The pump was reading 17 gallons and all of a sudden the screen flashed and when it came back the gallons were 41 and the price was 125.00.

At first they were like whawhawhawhaaat, but sure enough the pump registered 41 gallons and 125.00 dollars.

They went to the Owner who was there and they told them about the issue and the owner said, your tank is 41 gallons, but it's not, it's only 22 gallons.

The owner insisted that the tank was 41 gallons, but when they showed them that it wasn't, and that it was only a 22 gallon tank, the owner became irate.

The owner insisted that the tank was 41 gallons even after they showed them the documentation of the truck and that it was only 22 gallons.

This person has been going to this gas station for 14 years, saw the documentation about the truck and still insisted that it was 41 gallons and that they were lying to them.

They insisted that the driver was lying to them and began to go off on this person calling them a liar and continued to stick to their story about the 41 gallon tank.

The Gas Station is located at 3444 Southbay Rd NE Olympia, Washington (360) 491-1114.

For 20 minutes this driver tried to explain to them and show them that the truck is only a 22 gallon tank, but it was what happened next is when the driver realized that it was useless.

They asked them to check their video feed and to check the gas pump to see if there was a mistake and to call their Boss if they found something, and what did this person do...

They crumbled up the number and threw it back at them and told them to get out.

Gotta love that Washingtonian charm :-) and thankfully for the Superbowl you gotta a little taste of their good nature.

You know, with the Doug Baldwin defecation ball drop, ass wiping touchdown celebration 15 yard penalty and 11,000 dollar fine of Washingtonian Charm.

...Or the fight they caused in the End Zone because they lost the game and became sore losers.

Anyway, if this happens to you at this location or somewhere else, there is a number you can call to have the gas pumps checked...360-902-2035 "Weights and Measures"

Well come to find out there is a gas station just down the road from this place that is 40 cents cheaper and it goes without saying, they'll be going to them from now on.

There was actually another person there that was having a problem with the gas pump next to them as well at the same time, and they treated that person just as poorly as they did our friend.

There might be a software glitch in the Software of Chevron, so you may want to pay attention to the gallons and cents that are going into your gas tank.

Just a Heads UP!
