Yes Google…

We’re still listening to the F*ING SONG!!!

Red or Green…

Red or Green refers to chile or salsa depending on what region you’re from…

Mexican food used to be followed up with the question, would you like that smothered in Red or Green chile…

This was commonplace, because not everyone likes red sauce or green sauce so they were given a choice…

However now, it’s not like that, in fact most places pretend like they don’t understand what you’re asking them…

It doesn’t matter if you say, Salsa Verde or green sauce, they just don’t get it…

Where did that get lost in translation, it’s a pretty simple request…

However, it doesn’t stop there…

Cheese, Mexican food has cheese on everything, EVERYTHING, except street tacos…

This one cracks us up, they do not understand you when you ask for cheese on your taco…

We’ve asked for cheese and get a blank stare, we ask for queso and we get a bowl of queso sauce…

We’ve even asked for Queso Fresco, a very popular cheese and yet, stares continue…

Then when they do add cheese they charge you a crazy amount of money for it, almost as if their upset with you lol…

Example: Like the person that likes their steak well done, this irks Chefs, because they feel that Mid/Rare to Rare is the best way to have a steak, you know the old nut…

It’s better to just put your own cheese on it when you get home, cheaper and less of a headache…

Speaking of expensive, when did Mexican Food get so expensive…

8 four inch tacos with two slivers of carne asada, onion and cilantro will cost you over 20 dollars…

Canned Rebuttal: “two slivers”…even when they load up the carne asada, it’s still half of what you can put in a Folded Corn shell…

Add a side of guacamole and watch your price go over 30 dollars…

It’s almost ridiculous it’s almost as expensive as Italian food…

Have you ever bought a jar of Ragu and Noodles, under 10 dollars, but close to 40 dollars in a restaurant…

That’s a conversation for another day, but back to Red or Green…

People like green salsa on Enchiladas, Burritos, Tacos and some people like red salsa…

It’s pretty simple stuff really, but in today’s world they can’t handle the fact that you don’t like what they want you to like…

Nor do they understand, but that’s the way it is…

What’ll end up happening is people will just get fed up with the poor service, expensive prices and lack of options…

They’ll start staying at home and making their own tacos and putting what they like on them…

Nothing wrong with that, and that’s a fact!
